Your assuming they will be out of the playoff picture by then?

Sandy will be on an inning count coming off TJ and still has a lot to prove. If Sandy has a 4+ ERA next year with his similar k rate in 2003 then I would be ok if they moved on. I get your frustrations but Sandy needs to earn a new contact first.

This is a 100 loss team next year they will be out of it (which is what Bendix wants )

You believe that they would have lost 100 games last season if Perez, Sandy & Lizardo wasn’t injured? With Garrett, Weathers & Edwards we could have one of deepest rotations in the league.

If they add a closer we can make some noise for sure. 100 losses isnt happening.

In 2003 Sandy was 7-8 years old. I’m pretty sure he must have gotten a lot of strikeouts with his 35+ mph fastball during those neighborhood baseball games. But I’m not sure if those stats are exactly what we should be measuring him against next year.

The offense has 2.5 actual mlb players as it is. This is absolutely a 100 loss team in 2025. I’ll put 50 cents on that

We have 3 mlb players ( X , Norby & Burger). Conine & Stowers in the bottom order is ok. The key is adding Daviyson & Augustin & wether they will flourish. Packaging Weathers + J.Sanchez or Cabrera + J.Sanchez for more offense would be something I hope they’re pondering. I prefer keeping Cabrera but depth is on our side for once.

You’ll see.

Trust in the Dix.

Daddy D plan is for them to intentionally tank into a lottery pick this year again and 2026 start seeing some progress

My 2.5 were X, burger and Sanchez against rhp. Sanchez really seems like a dix type player I bet he gets another full year to figure it outs. Norby showed some flashes but he’s still Norby. I like deyvison a lot hopefully can get those ks down. I just don’t see the plan as competing this year. 2026 80-85 loss team and 2027 50 loss team when it rly clicks

July?

We’ll be out of it in May like always.

No we won't.

It’d be nice if you’re right, but I’m setting low expectations. .500 seems like a realistic goal for the season.

J.Sanchez was losing at bats near the back end of the season I thought and was traded from the Rays for Anderson which could mean nothing IDK. The hope I have for Sanchez, just a gut feeling here, is that Jazz had an effect on his focus. Some players need more discipline & focus some don’t. Overall, we should expect this team to gel next season. Im counting on Norby to insert himself as the captain that’s my impression of him.

Then we're not out of it in May if .500 is a realistic goal.

You can have a .500 goal and reality of dumpster fire. Case in point last year.

thats true but they had a slew of injuries.

On paper for some they are a .500 ball club now, anything can happen point in case last year.
