Somehow I missed we picked up P Orlando Ortiz-Mayr in the AAA portion of the rule 5 draft. He is 27.

Kim gave us one (1) year of a winning season that required a massively unsustainable record in one-run games (33-14).

Kim's regime drafted hitters terribly (as did Jeter's) - one drafted hitter has actually been an acceptable MLB player and just barely (Fortes).

Kim waited forever to make roster adjustments and despite having a lot of assets to deal in 2022, literally sat and “waited for teams to call,” ending up just sending out Anthony Bass and Zach Pop for Jordan Groshans. … who wasn't even on the team the entire next year and is no longer in the organization.

Kim's teams scored 623, 586, and 666 runs. Terrible. That was 3rd worst, 2nd worst, and 5th worth in MLB. Not like Kim's teams could score runs.

Kim's minor league systems were falling rapidly to a bottom-five system, thus no help on the way.

Kim’s teams were not good. The only thing she was sometimes good at were trades.

Have to prevent runs to win, too.

Kim was in charge of 2 drafts really after Jeter’s departure.

None of those drafts can really actually be judged for another 2-3 years (though they look somewhat bad).

In 2022 (her first draft) they drafted Jacob Berry - looking eh and then nothign but arms ,though I imaigne Malrins give him a bit more a leash to put things togehter.

2023 they drafted:

Kemp Alderman - most promsing bat from this draft and he might prove to be somewhat useful, a bit early to really tell.

Mark Vrademburg looks like a disaster

Jake Deleo looks like a bigger disaster

Colby Shade looks better than the prior 2 but he probably wont be more than a reserve.

So ya its not really been good regarding bats, they Kim also didnt really draft a lot of bats (not sure why thats a differnet question)

Also Kim made many good saavy trades honestly. The Groshans trade being the big glaring miss, but it looked like it made sense at the time and its not like they really gave up much in that deal honestly.

Kim’s decision to bring in Skip probably contributed some to the winning as well honestly.

Cassie strikes out a bunch & his power isn’t elite for that many strike outs. Scouts say he has high exit velo but that’s universal if u r swinging for the fences anyway. J.Sanchez is basically the same hitter, no thanks.

Triantos is really nice, a great fit behind X. High contact with sneaky speed. Bendix going after RH hitters is a plus for me.
