The front office plans to sign players with a ten inch dong or longer. This what my advanced statistics place the most importance on.

As mentioned in the other thread, we hired Clayton McCullough as our manager….

Marlins Hire Clayton McCullough As Manager - MLB Trade Rumors

But we also hire Pedro Guerrero as hitting coach…..seems quite quick for McCullough to have chosen that…..or did they just tell him “here’s who we’re putting in as hitting coach”?

Perhaps Clayton has a group of people he had on a list that he wanted to bring along prior to the hire.

I’d agree Clayton was aware of Pedro before agreeing to manager. Both of them worked with Gabe the babe before

I had to do a double take and look it up to be sure.

It’s because there was a pretty famous player in the 70s and 80s named Pedro Guerrero. I only know about him because he appears on my RBI Baseball 4 game for the Sega Genesis which came out in 1992.

Anyways.. I thought it was so completely random and unusual that they would hire such an old and relatively obscure by today’s standards former player. Of course I discover that it’s a young man and different person also named Pedro Guerrero who they hired. Although to be honest I’m slightly disappointed it’s not the original Pedro Guerrero. Would have been so hilarious and random for them to hire a 68 year old former player with no mlb coaching experience to be the hitting coach. 😂

Yeah I searched up Pedro Guerrero too and I was surprised at the old turd that showed up on my screen.

Gonna be especially fun when they trade Sandy in July to save more $

Your assuming they will be out of the playoff picture by then?

Sandy will be on an inning count coming off TJ and still has a lot to prove. If Sandy has a 4+ ERA next year with his similar k rate in 2003 then I would be ok if they moved on. I get your frustrations but Sandy needs to earn a new contact first.
