I don’t think they’re willingly doing it, though - I think they’re no longer going to be a revenue sharing recipient and have to meet higher thresholds mandated by MLB.

Don’t really rate Wagaman at all. The good news is they dfa’ed Vidal Brujan to put him on the roster. Which means one less roadblock to playing time for guys like Serna, sanoja, and possibly Acosta if we truly are committed to give the kids some playing time as trial by fire.

Also they listed Wagaman as a 3b. He played there as an Angel, but he’s brutal in the field there. He has played 1b/3b/rf/lf/dh at various levels. Probably more a lf than anything unless we can get something for Sanchez.

We went underslot on every pick except White, who we overpaid to pry him away from his Vanderbilt commit.

Noble hasn't shown any indication yet he is close to ready. He was brutal at Beloit and still needs to command the strike zone. Hopefully he’ll put it together but right now he’s far behind Snelling, maybe Mazur, and possibly Dishmey.

The only other semi useful pick might be Alderman but he is nothing special either.

I do have a soft spot for Ignoffo who was the last pick.

That draft was all about signing White if you look at the bonuses.

Brujan was a guy bendix acquired and gave like 600 ab too which I think says a lot about him

I believe it was all a part of the deal they cut to be a nomadic team and move to Vegas.

Marlins Make Two Additions To Coaching Staff - MLB Trade Rumors

Don’t worry guys, we have coaches now.

The Marlins are in the process of filling several vacancies on manager Clayton McCullough’s coaching staff. Earlier this week, they reportedly hired Tyler Smarslok to be their new first base coach. They also promoted Brandon Mann from the position of pitching strategist to bullpen coach. Both moves were reported by Isaac Azout of Fish On First. The team has not yet confirmed the news.
