4/6 - Marlins vs Reds - 6:40

A 2 out triple that was an inch or 2 from tying the game followed by a strikeout to end the inning is the story of the game.

The fact that opposing managers are warming up lefties because they would rather have Slater or Norby face a lefty than see one of our lefties off the bench is telling....

Lmao absolutely hilarious man. They’re being out spreadsheeted because these righties are pure trash.

Jimenez, Norby, slater, Heriberto do not belong on a mlb lineup

It doesn’t matter they’re starting slater and Jimenez over him two guys that don’t belong in MLB

I get that part and I agree. Just trying figure out this stupidity.

Another lefty tomorrow so enjoy this nightmare lineup again.

Sometimes Bendix is so high on his own supply with this BS. Just let the young guts actually plays. Turning me into @Rydawg

I think Bendix has done a good job overall. However, being this dedicated to the splits is counter productive in my opinion. Just put the spreadsheet down and let them play.

Can’t wait to put exact same lineup out tomorrow!

If Otto and X aren’t going 4 for 4 this team is absolute puke against lefties and there’s no value in keeping these guys like slater in the lineup.

Poor day at the plate. Curious lineup selection.

Feel like Slater will bat less than .200 and be released once Stowers and Ruiz are healthy.

Don't get Jimenez yet either, just unnecessarily weakens the lineup without a significant improvement in the field.

Honestly would rather see the younger guys get more at bats for the future than Slater. Wouldn't kill us to give Caissie some reps. Heck, I'd rather see Pintar get some MLB reps than trotting out Slater.

Solid start wasted by Junk.

Bounce back tomorrow.

In other news, water is wet!

Weird for him to call out marlins like that though. although they did keep him in minors and he’d be 5th better hitter in it’s current lineup lol

Well, the clip cuts off the question, which could have been "how does being in Colorado compare to past teams" or a general "how do you like the Rockies" or something like that. And since he was with the Marlins, that'd be his reference. Or he could've just been upset about leaving so threw them under the bus.

But everyone knows south Florida is a melting pot of people from just about everywhere but here, and they come with allegiance to their hometown team instead of supporting the local Florida teams.

If I moved to Denver, I'd still have my Marlins gear and be a fan of the Marlins from afar. Now, might I be different from folks in SFL and adopt the Rockies as "my" team if I'm living there long term? Sure, but in a Marlins-Rockies battle, I'd still side with my hometown team.

I'd also guess there are a lot more tourists in Miami vs. Denver. Tourists aren't going to wear Miami gear - they'll wear stuff from wherever they're from.
