Surprise of Spring Training?

Featured Replies

Who do you guys think will be the surprise of spring training and make the team?

I think Franklyn Gracequi will make the team as a lefty reliever.

SCOTT SANDERS!!! :D

Hmm,Alex"sea bass"Gonzalez....

This guy has so much potential. He just needs to stop swining at bad pitches and get a level swing on the ball.

Personally, (For Real) i havent seen a better fielding short stop than him and i havent seen no one make the plays he makes (except for Nomar).

How about Omar Vizquel?

How about Omar Vizquel? I Have seen him make some good plays, but i wasnt really into baseball in the mid 90's, I only watched the Marlins at that time.... :D

from many things ive read our a-gon is the most underrated fielder in the game...and called by many (underground sources) the most valuable IF in the game.

Damion Easley will be the surprise and become our super utility guy along with Wil Cordero....Our bench will be one of our strengths next year.......at least I hope so....

Neu will start his domination from the Marlins' pen this ST.

Alex Gonzalez is as good as it gets defensively. Simply a marvelous fielder. :hat The champ

Nomar sucks defensively.

nomar sucks defensively?

Wow....when did sucky SS's make it in the MLB. Hey may not be as good as Sea-Bass, A-rod, etc., but "sucks"? This guy who played little league with me, who's dad was the manager, and therefore got to play SS...now he sucked

Nomar sucks defensively. Josh knows all

:banghead

Nomar sucks defensively. Well, he didn't say Nomar is a better fielding shortstop, he said he hasn't seen anyone make plays like Alex, except for Nomar, who does make some spectacular plays. I mean, he makes boneheaded ones too, but he has a flare for the flashy stuff.

And he doesn't suck. It's not one of his stronger points, but he's certainly not the worst in the league.

My spring training surprise is Darren Oliver. As in he'll be surprised when he's in Albuquerque.
