4/13 Post Game
They are gonna have a hard time staying around .500 the upcoming series. If they can go 2-1 the rest of the Mets series that would be great. Probably wont though looking at the Mets sps.

4/3 - Marlins vs Nationals - 1:05 PM - Opening Day
I mean 2 outs and Wieters at first. Why fastball down the middle to Lind who we know can pull ? Very frustrating and probably the game.

3/14 Postgame
Bad ST so far. Hope they be ready for the re-match in a couple of weeks. And yes, sign Billy Boy immediately.

Will deff miss Balking Bob. Pretty bad umpire but highly entertaining. Watching the videos off him on Youtube is Amazing.

Realmuto skips Classic to learn new position
Realmuto hit great last season. That doesn't make him a proven hitter. Would definitely have preferred if they just let keep working solely on being a good catcher. If he needs rest then rest him and play Ellis. This is just a terrible cheap Marlins move to avoid spending a fuckin dime more to find a platoon at first. And has there really ever been this many cheap options ? Could easily found someone on a minor League contract that could still be "kind of useful".

2017 MLB season win totals
Probably not online. Pinnaclesports always has the best (mlb)odds but they left the american market long ago. A local casino perhaps ?

2017 MLB season win totals

2017 MLB season win totals
I usually bet on 3 season o/u bets. Braves Over, Rays Over, Rockies Over, Rangers Under, Astros Over, Mets Under and the Nationals Over looks interesting I think.

Marlins interested in Mark Reynolds and Chris Carter
I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic but it wasen't really a good fit for either part. Carter could have diminished his value even further by being a platoon/DH pinch hitter while playing home games at Marlins park. The cheapish Marlins wouldn't even have paid 3 million for that sort of player (which is stupid) and we can't really be dissing Bour who have been good/ok when healthy. There is really not much more to do this offseason. The only way to improve the team is via trade and big moves including money/taking on contracts and that's not going to happen. It will be fun till' June when some of our key players gets injured and the season is over.

Severino Gonzalez acquired
Good pickup. Always good with some depth in the high minors.

Marlins interested in Mark Reynolds and Chris Carter
Get Reynolds. Carter wont sign up for a part time gig. Go with the five men bench. If insisting on a four men bench let rojas start in AAA. With this lineups injury history and the lack of run scoring well be needing some pop off the bench.

Dan Straily to Fish
Everyone on mlbtr says we got fooled. Why do they mock us ? Why cant we be smart enough to just trust in pater Hill ?

How to correctly use $85 million that has been rejected twice?
They probably wont make any more moves. A bench bat maybe. I noticed they mentioned (frisaro the source) on MLBTR that the Marlins might wanna trade Urena. I dont think that will happen but if they traded him for a bench/platoon player they are insane. We will need Urena, Nicolino and Phelps to make plenty of starts this season. Cant believe they expect the current starting rotation to stay healthy for long. Its going to be just like last season. Better bullpen now but way worse starting rotation. The lineup is looking nice but no depth. Injuries will crush this team just like it did last season. Probably wont be close to .500. They are not even that close to contention. Hammel and Napoli would be nice but how many wins could they possibly be worth and would that make a difference?

Henderson Alvarez
We better have. When is Castillo - our super prospect - going to emerge to the bigs ? Next season ?
-
Henderson Alvarez
I know. But why did they though ? Out of respect ? I noticed the Red Sox mentioned they might demand compensation for Pomeranz injury on what I assume are the same grounds ( think they dropped it though).
-
Henderson Alvarez
There is no way the Marlins spend a dime for pitchers who might not pitch. We even demanded the poor Padres take Rea back after we broke him. I would honesty like both Hendo and Eovaldi back but none of them would take a minor league contract and Eovaldi is out with TJ anyhow.

Marlins looking for right-handed 1B
Kind of a tricky situation getting a bat that will accept being a backup/platoon/DH and still have an impact on the offense. There is no way Carter will accept such a role. Reynolds probably would though. I still think our lineup/bench will look way thin (as usual) since we can´t really expect any help from the minors. What is our bench now anyway ? Ichiro, Ellis, DD and ?

New Bullpen
The Marlins should and probably are moving on from the bullpen. I know the Marlins are going for that amazing super-pen to make up for one of the worst mlb rotations but we really need to move on. The rotation today is Volquez, Chen, Conley, Koehler and Locke with Urena and Phelps as options. Looks deep enough on paper but we know a couple of injuries always cripples this team. And what about our bad offence ? The Marlins finished 27th in run scored last season. And now we cant count on Jose shutting teams down now and then.
-
How to correctly use $85 million that has been rejected twice?
You´re worried about Koehler being our 4th starter ? Really ? Worry about our terrible 1-3 in Volquez, Conley and Chen. None of those are 1-3 in competitive teams. But with Jose passing there was no way we could get even close to a good starting rotation. We just need to hope that two of Volquez, Chen, Conley, Locke or Koehler can have career years and the rest performs at least decently. Oh, and that our offence doesn´t suck like last year and that the bullpen is top 3 NL. And Santana would cost us a hell of a lot more than Urena and Ellington. Castillo would be in there for sure and then some(prob DD).

Chacin is absolutely terrible and Feldman is probably done. Would much rather have Urena start. We need someone with at least potential upside. The more interesting issue now according to me is whether or not the Marlins should pursue a powerbat. Names like EE, Napoli and Bautista would all demand to start at first. So would Carter. And could we really tell Bour that he's gonna be a bench bat/DH? Probably not. With no SP market and no tradechips there's really not much to do with this team than to make minor adjustments and hope for a miracle. I say sign Ziegler, Travis Wood and a decent powerbat like Rasmus or Valbuena ( I know, both lefty's) who can play 1 B as well as other positions.
