  1. so he is from Gainesville must be a Gators fan :mischief
  2. well the idea of having inge is because we can start him in the outfield, third base, and catcher and i am sure he would be able to pick up first base too if need be can olivo offer you that. inge can also hold on to the ball when hes behind the plate unlike olivo. but none of that matters because he wasnt included in the cabrera-willis megatrade so hes not coming here unless he is released by the tigers He sucks. and costs too much next
  3. 2003 your continued support for this ownership group seriously jeoprodizes your credibility. If Loria doesn't want this kind of scutiny of his finances, then BUILD YOUR OWN STADIUM, and until he does that, and stops asking for the public to fund his private business, he needs to just STFU about ANY critizism he recieves. Don't ask for public funding and cry poormouth, and then give away money for your own vainglory. Its gall at its highest !!!!!!! :thumbdown I realize you don't have the faintest idea what you're talking about and you have the intelligence of road kill but please don't try to lecture me on things you have no understanding of. And please don't talk to me about credibility. I've been here five years, like or not like my points of view, they haven't been created by piling lie upon lie. If I'd like to see Rober Andino get a shot next season I don't do it by calling so other player garbage. And my POV is my POV. It's ethic driven. Perhapst the reason I stand up for Loria is because of intellectual bigots like yourself. You've shown up her recently with nothing but poison to contribute. There is no lie or mistruth too big for you to tell, not corruption of the facts you are unwilling to post. And to suggest John Henry had anything to do with our 2003 WS victory shows you are certifiable. John Henry is the reason we are in th psotion we are today. John Henry during his time almost single-handedly destroyed the franchise and started the war with local politicians that goes on today by lieing about his intentions repeatedly and was possibly one of the five worst owners of any team in baseball (not withstanding his success in Boston). What he did here was murderous. Here's what I'd like from you. - One quote from Loria crying poor-mouth. - One quote from Loria demanding anyone build him a free stadium. - One quote from Loria demanding anything. You have no understanding of business or finance. None. Zero, Nada. Zilch. You are just another hater plain and simple. You don't even understand after all these years why the money proposed to be used for stadium construction won't be public money. Go peddle your hate somewhere else. "ethic driven" that's a funny one 03 :lol
  4. He reeks of the Miguel Olivo disease but he can catch a baseball FACT: Miguel Olivo hit 2 more homeruns than Inge and batted .236 compared to Inge's .239. FACT: Mike Lowell hit .236 in 2005 for the Florida Marlins and won a Gold Glove that year. FACT: Mike Lowell is a douche and cost us the 2005 season. If you love Olivo and Lowell in 2005 (which Lowell himself cost us the playoffs), then you would love Inge. On top of that Inge will cost $$. Submediocrity at its finest.
  5. Cape, you fail at photoshop. I was in a hurry and used MSPaint. :anon photoshop is faster :mischief lol ill give you credit. its still funny though
  6. too much $$ Especially for a guy that will hit you less than .240. is a career .304 OBP. He reeks of the Miguel Olivo disease
  7. I don't see what they could say specifically about trading Cabrera, since he's going to get one of the biggest contracts ever when he hits free agency. DuPuy said. "You want clubs to be able to rebuild, but you also want them to retain their stars and their franchise players as well." The only team that comes to mind over and over is the Marlins... They've been the only team to consistantly, over and over again - trade all their franchise players. Something, sooner or later needs to get done.
  8. yea i regret searching for it too after that roots reaction... f***
  9. Maybe the Marlins didn't want an injury prone player? I like the job he did last season for the most part, but you can never count on him to be healthy. It's 1 friggin' million man. I mean common. You can't get even the shittiest veteran backup for that much. Here we are thinking of trading for Helms, when he's going to make 2+ million AND give up a player for him, when we could have signed boone for 1 million? A starting 3rd baseman and/or backup and veteran presence for 1 million?? It's ridiculous, especially when 3b is now a glaring hole. Boone > Helms
  10. I think it's rather suspicious that he went ahead and told Yale not to make this public until a few years have passed. Maybe he was torn between having the chance to get his name on that building and hiding his money from the Marlins so he can get a free stadium? I think most of the bottom line is that he was hiding this money from the Marlins and from the MLB, Politicos in S. Florida. He assumed he'd have the stadium done by now, and that's why he told them to make this public "several" years from that date. So he can cry poor until then, when he could have afforded that 30MM or whatever the gap was all along.
  11. DuPuy said his boss' message at the meeting was, "We are getting to the point where we need to make a decision - either you want to retain Major League Baseball or you don't." Great. . . now Selig is pounding tables and threatening the politicos. See yaa. . . . Just move the damn team if you don't like it down here. Ultimatums never work, and thats what it's comming down to.
  12. I think they'd take De Aza and Olivo for him If Beinfest sends to the Dodgers the testimonials from our board members on De Aza when De aza was hitting over .300 (4 for 11 or whatever it was) maybe Colletti will trade him for Martin, Loney or Kemp. even then... his OBP was like .321 he always sucked... except for ST
  13. must have been all the protein from those big macs :mischief
  14. thats a real good job photoshopping. definately! Outside the white on the "Marlins" text, it's near flawless. Very well done. The hat logo could have use a little depth too. Still, well done. opacity needs to be changed on everything. the white spots need to be cut out. there needs to be a line break in the jersey. levels & brightness/contrast needs to be adjusted .. & some depth :cool
  15. He register on the blog Nov 20, about 15 days ago. Maybe he knew he was going to get dealt? Or excited about the prospects of being dealt? You're really grasping at straws now. :mis2
  16. That can't actually be him... If it is, he is looking like a real duche to me Commenting on "Tigers' acquisition of Cabrera, Willis not done deal" 1. dontrelle , 52 minutes ago | Reply 0 pts | | | i think its a great move hahahahhaha I know his mom, and Dontrelle was in mexico when this trade happened, only he and his mom knew this, and I found out later that day when I called Joyce cause I was so mad, she told me he indeed was in Mexico, only the real Dontrelle would know that piece of information.
  17. He's signing a TV deal and getting his own show apparently.... 19 years old too
  18. He register on the blog Nov 20, about 15 days ago. Maybe he knew he was going to get dealt? Or excited about the prospects of being dealt?
  19. This guys a douche. Now he talks about everything in hindsight. You didn't see him with a blog so actively with the Marlins? I guess now hes really happy and excited to move on. Just as douche worthy as Cabrera working extra hard to shed that weight for his new team. I respect Dontrelle as a baseball player, but I expected more out of him as a person. WTF is wrong with you. Maybe the guy's just now getting acquainted with this sort of stuff. Jeezus. Give it a break! He says he will still call Miami home - this is spot, according to him. Acquainted? He could have gotten aquainted for the past 3 years with this sort of stuff. He chooses to do so now. He didn't take this organization seriously and it showed in his performance last season. Now he's all upbeat about being with Detroit. With all due respect, to me this is douche worthy action. No need to throw a "WTF" at me.

  21. lol sorry dude. I saw it for the first time today on the AIM frontpage.... Not everybody is as up to date on the latest gay news as you are :needs_a_shave
  22. I mean common... the guy didn't go to college. Alot of my friends that don't go to school type just like that.
  23. lol if you haven't seen it already here it is enjoy
  24. Cmmon guys, let the dude rant. It's Miguel Cabrera that got traded here... First 3 posts and I think the responses are stupider than the initial post. Just another perspective (as I don't know any one of you, nor do I get influenced by any one of you)
