  1. Being a player's coach was the only thing everyone agreed he was good at and now we're not even sure that was true.
  2. I think the question on this is, how often do players nap before games because I've seen many say "can't believe Jazz was sleeping" while others are like "players catching a pre game nap is common" and in that case Jazz wasn't doing anything wrong. So is it a normal thing or is it a sign of being irresponsible?
  3. The story of Jazz's cleats being shredded by a veteran and drenched in milk is awful and I think is a big point to make for anyone who thinks this is just about Jazz being immature. Things like that are just purely mean and don't teach anything to a young player. All it does is create tension and resentment. I'd like to know more about Mattingly during all this. Did he know what was going on? Did he lose control of the clubhouse? Jazz made it sound like Mattingly was cool with him but he also made it clear that this stuff absolutely doesn't happen under Skip.
  4. I would love to eventually, like I'm talking years down the line, to find out that Jazz proves himself as an actual leader, captain like, along with a successful career of course. That would be the best way to stick it to Miggy, by ending up better than him in every way including in leadership.
  5. I'm not sure on who's right but I think that either way, from Jazz's perspective he sees that Rojas doesn't have his back and unless Rojas pulls him aside later and says hey this is why I didn't wake you, meaning actually teaching and explaining the lesson, then Rojas f'd up here because this is what creates tension and can ruin the clubhouse. So if Miggy was going for a lesson, he could have at least done it better.
  6. Maybe I'll post the clips in a bit but Jazz says that he was asleep before a team meeting and team captain Miguel Rojas purposely didn't wake him up and calls him out on it and says that the now the clubhouse is so tight that anyone would have woken him up if that happened now. Aram Leighton's take is that Jazz shouldn't have been sleeping and that Rojas allowed Jazz to sleep through the meeting to teach him a lesson and foster accountability. Besides being about Jazz vs Rojas, I think this is also a fair discussion on what's the right way for a captain/clubhouse leader to handle a situation like that.
  7. He still quite ugly though.
  8. Why are you telling us what gym he goes to?
  9. All of those are about 30 minutes away from me. Not going out of my way for that lol
  10. I myself have never eaten at a Sonics. For the longest time it's because there's none near me and I literally had never seen one and a friend and I would always say that the day we saw one we would eat there, no questions asked it was now mandatory. Since then we've seen a couple when we've gone out of town but we never stuck to our word and we still haven't eaten there lol.
  11. This is way more believable as that place can be quite regional, plenty of cities don't have one.
  12. This mf starving and nobody seems to care.
  13. Anyone remember when Corey Dickerson had never had a hot dog? How the fuck can that be true?
  14. Isn't a stress fracture a good thing? If you have stress it's probably a good idea to fracture it, right?
  15. Now that you say this I don't even think I look at the price of their combos since I order by individual items, you're gonna force me to look next time.
  16. I love Taco Bell breakfast, criminally underappreciated, still feels like no one knows about it. McDonald's drive thru has a line out of the parking lot at breakfast time while I can pull into TB and be the only car there. I've got one taco bell that can ruin my morning though because it feels like their coffee machine is never working and I can't have fast food breakfast without coffee. If I am able to go to a different location when I want TB breakfast then I go out of my way to do so. Also, their breakfast salsa is incredible and I need it badly on every item. As for their prices I feel the pain on McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's prices now but for some reason Taco Bell doesn't feel as egregious as those places or maybe I just haven't noticed. Could also be that TB is more likely of me to order multiple single items as opposed to a combo and it doesn't seem so crazy like when I pull into, say, BK and I literally order one combo meal and I have to drop $12 and I'm like what the fuck? At Taco Bell I might order like 4 individual items and no drink and I feel like I'm not paying so bad. Yes the breakfast box is a fantastic value though I don't prefer the crunchwrap, I'd rather their biggest breakfast burrito, I forget what it's called cuz it's changed a few times, it was the grande scrambler for a while.
  17. It clearly says his back was broken at two points, not one. Please read more carefully.
  18. Why are we discussing your weekend plans?
