Chen to start Opening Day
This pissed me off so much. Not because it makes a difference in the long run, I really don't think it does. It pisses me off because yesterday I spent over $300 on 2 tickets to opening day! On the bright side, we finally got the #2 pitcher we've been wanting for so long!

Lazo to the bigs
Funny story. (Well I'm sure it was not funny for him) In about March 2014 I accompanied my buddy to do some repos. He has been a repo man for a while and I go out with him every now and then just for shits and giggles. So we so we are looking for a late model Nissan Maxima (maybe an Altima, don't remember) that is supposed to be a duplex in Coconut Grove. The registered owner had taken out a title loan on the car for like $4000 and was late on the payments. We find the car and hook it up. Mind you, it is about 3am on a weeknight. As we are dragging the car out of a driveway a half dressed woman in her 40's comes running out screaming. This lady was a total milf. Blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, fake boobs and ass, prototypical milf. She tells us that she took out the title loan but please to leave the car because her boyfriend does not know anything. Her boyfriend comes storming out and she starts completely denying any knowledge of the loan and blamed it on him. Her boyfriend, Raudel Lazo. He was wearing an Under Armour Marlins shirt and boxers. He was a very cool guy and understood that my buddy was just doing his job. While we are talking to him the woman is still screaming because my buddy had no choice but to tell him what she had done. We could not just tell him that we were taking the car just because. She then pretends to faint and Lazo catches her. I know it was fake because she was still supporting her own weight and she would open her eyes when he was not looking. As he is carrying her away her night gown lifts up and my friend and I are treated to a full view of her snatch and ass. Lazo comes back shortly and asks to take some equipment out of the car. He says he cannot believe he is going to be late to training again and worries that the team would let him go. Hope we he got rid of the lying bitch and wish him the best of luck. He was a very, very nice guy given the circumstances.

Marlins Acquire Dee Gordon for Andrew Heaney
How is Gordon on defense? I don't really know how to read all the defensive metrics. I just know from what I see and hear and I haven't seen or heard much about his D.

Tickets to Saturday's game
Hi everybody. I'm looking for tickets for tomorrow's game. If anybody has, send me a message. I know I could just buy them at the box office but I hate paying retail for anything. Don't care about the price as long as its a reasonable deal. Let me know. Thanks!

Uggla's mission to 30 HR's.
Do you think Alfonso Soriano should be in the Hall of Fame because of what he did from 2001-2005? Uggla's got no shot.

Stanton Watch
I never said to trade Maybin to rush Stanton. I don't know where you got that from in the contents of this thread. The question was asked, "who is the odd man out in the outfield when Stanton is ready", and for me that is Maybin. Maybe I overvalue Cody, maybe I don't evaluate Maybin correctly, but that's what I would do if it were to come to that.

nice. let's hope he continues to rake so we can bring him up. the question is what we do with our outfielders if this were to happen. trade cody, i guess? I'd trade Maybin, put Cody back in center where he shined defensively last year, and then have a corner spot for Stanton. Then what do you do mean Cody is making $6.5 million next year, and a free agent after the 2011 season? And Maybin is outperforming him during all of this and under control through 2015. :banghead Maybin is outperforming Cody? Really? In what time span? Last 3 years? Last year? Since they woke up this morning? I'm just saying, if Maybin gets his stuff together, then by all means I'd love to have him on the team. I just don't personally think he will pan out. I don't see that progression in him. I hope I'm wrong. And, I'm just saying what I would do, of course I'm not the GM but neither are any of us on here.

Traffic tickets
I got 394 violations in a span of 3 months. Reason behind this 3 months ago I bought a new house, new car, and new Sunpass. I thought I had the Sunpass on auto-replenish, so I kept driving through the tolls. Never really occurred to me to check my bank account since I thought it was being pulled right out and didn't really care about periodical $20 deductions. Turns out I had been passing through the tolls with no funds, and I wasn't getting my violation warnings because the post office messed up my change of address. Last week though I got over 400 letters from Sunpass and the Expressway Authority. I owed $394 in tolls, which I didn't care about paying because I did go through the tolls and did owe it, but 11 of the violations have already gone to court and each one comes with a $200 fine and 3 points on my license. So yeah, I'm pretty pissed off.

Gonzalez strikes out 13 in one-hitter
Gio Gonzalez was a stud in high school, maybe the best high school pitcher I've ever seen. My high school (Brito) went against Pace once and we were all praying that he wouldn't be their starter; he wasn't so we actually got the win in that game.

Anybody else just catch that!?
You guys haven't heard? We just traded Jacobs, Pinto, and Andino for Miggy. :mischief

Computer problem help
Well I assume that the drive is good because it is booting, it just dies right after. I believe the PC is running on 256 MB of RAM. Yeah its kind of old. I only use it for work so I really didn't care to upgrade it.

Computer problem help
Thanks for your replies. Unfortunately it still isn't working. It did the same thing in safe mode. I'm about to do a system restore but I'm trying everything to get my important files off of the computer first.

Computer problem help
I've got a desktop PC that just started giving me problems. Its a Compaq, 1.8 GHz Intel Celeron, I've been using it for business. Also I've been dual booting Windows XP and Windows ME (2 separate drives) because I had some programs on the ME drive that I needed for business and aren't available for XP. The problem I've been having is that Windows XP crashes at, or right after, the "welcome" screen. Windows ME works just fine. Everything looks normal, in booting and everything, except for it crashing after the welcome screen. Anybody have an idea as to what my problem is?

MIAMI HEAT
I like Marion, hell I've got him on my fantasy team. But I think he lacks the ability to create his own shot that I'd like to see in a player getting max money. Nevertheless, if he stays, and we get a solid point guard and another good big man, we should have a good team.

MIAMI HEAT
If Marion stays, we don't have any cap room. Uh, yeah we will man. J-Will, Ricky Davis and Zo come off the books. You are wrong. Yes, Davis, Williams, Zo, and potentially Wright's salaries come off the books this offseason, but that doesn't mean the Heat will have cap room this offseason. They still have Wade, Marion, Haslem, Blount, Banks, and Cook on the books. The NBA salary cap is somewhere in the low-to-mid $50 range. Those players combined put the Heat at or near the salary cap. Even though the cap will increase slightly, any cap room the Heat have would be minimal. What the Heat will have is lots of room under the luxary tax. That will allow them to add players with both the mid-level and low-level exceptions without having to worry about going over the tax and paying a dollar for dollar penalty for going over the tax. Should Marion opt-out, then you are looking at $17-20 million in cap room and enough room to add a max contract free agent. They also could use Marion in a sign-and-trade deal for a player like Brand, or they could work out a contract extension with him and lower his cap number for next year. Otherwise, you let him play out next season and have a lot of cap room after next year. Obviously, where the Heat ends up in the Lottery will determine what course they take in the offseason. If they get the #1 pick, then you have Beasley and Haslem or Marion become expendable(or more expendable then they are now). If they end up with #2, #3 or #4 and you get Rose or another PG, then they may chose to keep Haslem and let Marion play out his deal and use the cap room the following offseason. Oh, my bad, I misunderstood cap room for open salary. I thought it was being said that the payroll wouldn't be less than it is now, in other words. And yeah, I think Marion would be stupid to opt out of his contract. I really don't think he's even worth the 17-18 mil he's due.
