December 10, 201411 yr Dee Gordon is projected to be only 4 runs better than Donovan Solano. Dan Haren is likely not part of the trade, as he has threatened to retire if traded to Miami.
December 10, 201411 yr I hope they know Nicolino is going to be better than Heaney. I hope we get more than Gordon. Couldn't care less about the negativity regarding Gordon. He is going to change everything about our lineup and I couldn't be happier about that.

December 10, 201411 yr I still don't believe it. Nothing against Dee Gordon but Heaney is a steep price to pay. Hell, Bonifacio or Everth Cabrera would be the same thing and we could have kept Heaney.

December 10, 201411 yr Author Gordon will definitely be a spark when he's hitting, but his lack of power and plate discipline will bring prolonged slumps and we know Redmond won't ever move him from the leadoff spot. Our team got better by about 4 runs, meanwhile our future #2 is gone.
