Is it me or am I the only fan who's complaining as to why from several parts of the stands we can't see the corners of both right and left field? That's simply part of life, most stadiums have a few blind spots. But ours has a whole lot of them... I really didn't notice much from where I was sitting. Then again I had pretty good seats. I guess your answer is pay more for better seats and you won't have that problem? lol. BroncoBob- is that you?

On another note, hanley homered to opposite field, and he looked great at third. First hitter of the game was a slow grounder to third.... Did you notice after the first pitch foul ball to third he looked at the UM hitter and pointed for him to hit it to the 1B side? That made me laugh my ass off.

There must be some misquotes here because I fail to believe he's that retarded; Samson's already come out and said he's been misquoted in these articles. Just another example of how this franchise can't get out of its own way in some respects lately. ??? Keep in mind that almost the entire stadium and team makeover was unorthodox and a big aesthetic out-of-the-norm "risk." And as the days pass, it seems more and more well-received, from the stadium to the uniform to the fish tanks to even the home run sculpture. And even if the sculpture is a total miss, that's a still a decent percentage. We know you hate all the new stuff, but that statement just seems unfair. I know what will get Hawkfan interested in the new uniforms. I'll post it later .

whats the quality of the replicas like? If they're crap then I may just pony up for an authentic. They are fine in my opinion, just the stitching of the letters looks nicer on the authentic. it depends any way. if you wanna buy some replicas online or something , you'd better not to order too many in your trial order. one jersey or two is just ok .i've tried to get mine from weiketrade .and it's just ok for me as to the quality second to none in replicas Those on weike trade are counterfeit and most fakes look like sh*t. I'll take pictures tonight to show it. Get the replicas from retail stores or be careful on eBay, anything under 200 saying it is authentic is fake. Any replica under 50 is fake. The four I have have the Black/Orange, but only because this last one I was vigilant. The First Orange and First Black I got at the stadium. I got another Black to beat up and they all have Black/orange, and this last orange I noticed the differences just in time. I'm betting on Black/Orange being used, but I can see the Orange/Blue signifying a first run that was scrapped for the inconsistancy just before release and ended up in stores since they were so popular instead of a TJ Maxx. Or a second run that was made and wasn't caught after the release to keep up with demand. Like I said almost 95% the other sizes I've seen are Black/Orange, and only 7 3/8 have been 90% blue/orange

Not to get too far off topic but I have a question about the MLB bat man logo... My orange cap has a blue and orange MLB man on the back... but online on the shop Im pretty sure I saw it with the black and orange logo, the same as the black cap. Does this one exist? While the blue and orange looks fine, I'd like for all the caps and jerseys to have the same logo... does anyone have an orange cap with a black and orange mlb logo? I thought about the MLB Logo's this weekend as well. It's kind of confusing because even Lids has the Black/Orange Logo and Blue/Orange Logo on the same racks. It was almost a 50/50 split across all sizes, but I noticed 7 3/8 were almost all Blue/Orange. One of my friends mentioned they might be B Grade caps like Nike has with their shoes. Slightly less quality and a marking to differentiate them. Remember the cap George Richards found with the Blue/Orange logo and someone said it was a production sample. I'm betting the logo's supposed to be Black/Orange since the orange jerseys are Black/Orange.

Trolley service gets approved-set to start March 1st. Note however that the service will only run Monday through Saturday (no Sunday). Good news is that the trolley service will be free for at least the first full year. For anyone planning on going to a Marlins game at the new stadium, remember that the 5,700 spaces in the four new garages are reserved for season ticket holders and VIPS. As messed up as it is saying this considering without Huizinga we wouldn't have had a team, Loria's been our best owner and has tried to stand behind the team and put his money where his mouth was in the past hoping the fans will come. In 2003, he shelled out for pudge and when fans didn't really come out until the post season he didn't resign him and traded lee for a bit of salary relief. (Pudges Contract was asinine BTW for a catcher past his prime). He did it again in 2005 with a big signing in Delgado and it bombed. He rebuilt the team pretty well and got us the Ballpark as well. He can sell the team if he wants, but unlike most fans in Montreal I'd be sad to see him go. He learned from his mistakes in Montreal, and is building a CONSISTANT winner here in Miami. If only the Panthers were as well run from 2000 to now instead of just the last year under Tallon.

I think it's dumb that the Marlins allowed season ticket holders to double dip (and consequently put the tickets on Stub Hub at a huge mark-up) instead of opening them up for more individual sales. My Marlins' ticket salesperson actually used it as a sales pitch, and that's exactly why they did it. It gave people a bigger incentive to buy even a 10 or 20 game ticket plan, you could pay for half the plan simply by selling extra opening day seats... Pretty smart, actually. It was more than just Opening Day. It was also the Yankees games. And we were able to get more tickets for any of the other games before they go on sale. A good example because of their draw, the Red Sox tickets. Those that did get some type of package should get some extra benefits thrown in. It's been for a very long time Opening Night was going to be a "Big Ticket" item here. Heck, every Opening Day has been a good draw. The new pond just seriously expanded that draw, partly because of the limited seating. Those that don't live here or have done nothing about it up til now really have no right to complain. A blind person could see something like this coming. Ya snooze, ya lose. Man up, buy them from StubHub. Or sit at home watching the festivities on TV and complain about it not being fair. It's Hypebeast's like yourself that make it that much more difficult for other fans to enjoy Opening Day and other events. The fact that season ticket salesman were offering it as a perk and pitch to sell on the secondary market is sickening knowing full well there are fans that would have loved to gone, and possibly have enjoyed it alot more. Members like Admin and CanesCop, who are out of town and would have made a special effort to be there yet can not reasonably shell out for even a 10 game ticket pack they will never be able to use just to attend opening day. Or even members like Rab (I assume) or myself who can attend 4 or 5 of the 10 game pack but can't use all 10. I would have picked up a 10 game season ticket pack but the price for two seats ($500) was a bit out of my budget and it still didn't guarentee parking (which by the way it's bulls*** if reported correctly, that the garages are only for season ticket holders and VIPS with parking passes). As a college student it's a privledge not a right to go to a baseball game but it still should have been handled differently. I'll go to Stub Hub, I'll pay the inflated opening day price, and I'll still go to 50 f***ing games this year regardless of season ticket holder shenanigans because the assholes who bought up the season ticket plans just to resell the tickets are going to be stuck getting whatever they can to those Tuesday night games. I'm sure 8000 of those 87,000 people would have killed to see THEIR team play on April 4th, but Hypebeast's like the rest of the world tend to mess it up for everyone. And before you go off on a diatribe preaching about how I'm a disrepectful little twerp who isn't a real fan because I don't have season tickets....
