  1. As soon as I saw Gregg come in to pitch the 9th I said to myself "this is a lost game...". And of course the dumb motherf***er didn't dissapoint. He needs to f***ing go or eat sh*t and die or something as long as he stays off that pitcher's mound from now on!!! :banghead :banghead :banghead
  2. I just voted 25 times and will continue to do so in the next few days.
  3. Hanley keeps taking the outside pitch for a called third strike;it's freaking ridiculous. :banghead
  4. Jaime Moyer (who almost doubles Andrew Miller in age) is 7-0 lifetime against the Marlins. That's pretty impressive. :mis2 He is waaaaaaay overdue for a beating...
  5. 1024x768 1280x1024 1440x900 A little something I made during my free time. And 1440x900 are my weird computer dimensions. Great job, awesome :thumbup If you could make a similar one of Hanley, I'd e-high-five you to death Also, nothing odd about 1440x900, that's the resolution us cool people use :whistle That's the resolustion cool people USED. We have move on to 1680x1050. How about 1920x1200? Unless you are running atleast 25"-26" displays, that's too high for me. I have a 24" hooked up to my Hackintosh...

  7. I think that this was long overdue for him,and hopefully it will be the first of many in a Marlins uniform!
  8. It's always nice when they win.Here's to 2009!
  9. Wiley or Even Rosenthal would be an upgrade over K.
  10. This won't be a good starting pitching team again until 2009,I think.Assuming Willis stays and Olsen improves dramatically,we still have to deal with Sanchez and JJ being out for most if not all of next year, and Mitre can go in either direction as well as Nolasco. So basically they still have to fill three spots in the rotation...should make for another "interesting" year.

Fredi should show them that graphic and ask them how they feel about being just about the worst team in the Majors.Maybe that will give them a wake up call-we all know they are better than this but the fact is,they have been playing like putrid vomit for the last month or so.

    I have been thinking of something like this: 1.De Aza 2.Hermida 3.Hanley 4.Cabs 5.Hammer 6.Jacobs 7.Uggla 8.Treanor 9.P with spots 5-6 interchangeable. At any rate we need a change.
  13. From 1977-2006: Home team down 1 in the 9th with a man on first & no outs, win expectancy is 32.0% (1678 game sample size) Home team down 1 in the 9th with a man on second and 1 out, win expectancy is 28.1% (991 game sample size) Same situation except man on 2nd to lead off w/ no outs, win exp is 40.9% (357 games) Same situation except man on 3rd w/ 1 out, win exp is 37.7% (247 games) And this is exactly why bunting was not the automatic best move.
  14. Ok,brain fart here but you get my point. They they have played it certainly feels like we have been swept.
  15. Here we go again!Bottom of the 9th,no outs and a man in second.Any logical person would have Treanor take his swings, especially with the way he's been hitting but no,Fredi the retard decides once again to just give away an out to the Giants by having Treanor bunt. Then there came the double play to end the game. When does this stupid crap end??? :banghead Treanor came thru big time with a runner on 2nd in the 9th today, like the all time great that he is. yeah, donde esta kansukee And your point is?The team is playing like crap.I mean, getting swept by the putrid Giants is about as low as you can get_at this pace they could end the season at 20 or more under .500.
  16. And actually, this is one of the few times I think bunting is a good idea. I can't believe this.Just because it is the usual course of action does not mean it's the appropriate thing to do in this particular situation.
  17. Lol. (Not directed at you swifty or you ralph) Lol???Whatever.
  18. preface: i hate fredi. and, fredi cannot be blamed one bit for that ending. regardless, it's still matt treanor and if you have a shot at a guy on 3rd with 1 out, you take it. not fredi's fault. It's not about the ending,it's about the fact that by giving away an out like he did,the ending was possible.Worst case scenario, they still got the double play and we still have aman in first with two outs instead of an inning ending DP. So you knew Matt Treanor was going to get a hit there? Well then, by all means the bunt was stupid. I guess there's no question that Matt Treanor was absolutely going to get a hit there, and that Hermida would have scored on that hit. I guess Treanor's 0-2 up to that point was the clear determinate in suggesting he was going to get a hit. Was Fredi also supposed to know that Cabrera was gonna take an 0-fer tonight? Come on dude, Fredi obviously isn't the best and is still learning, but to blame it solely on him is ludicrous. And at the same time,no one could know that Treanor was NOT going to get a hit a hit in that situation. And I don't know what Cabrera has to do with this discussion. ok, but he was a lot more likely to not get a hit. that's the percentages. i love treanor and the vote for treanor sticker. but he's isn't any star. the reason why we disagree is that i would've bunted in that situation with anybody except for miggy, hanley, and hammer (but uggla or jacobs probably wouldn't be able to anyway). and i'm guessing since you're not in favor of giving away the out, you would have let just about anybody swing away. in that situation, i want the tying run on 3rd with 1 out, definitely. As I said above,I am in favor of letting anyone outside the pitcher (and Olivo too,I guess),swing in that situation especially when said batter has been doing well lately. With the way we've been swinging lately and all the bad breaks, giving outs away only makes matters worse.

  20. He still did not need to just give away an out. There was no need for it.With Treanor batting these days you have a good chance at getting a hit.I just don't like that kind of game philosophy. If it was the pitcher,go for it but you don't do that with a regular player who's actually hitting.

  22. A good manager would have tackled the second baseman to prevent that double play -_- I think it's the second time this week that he's done the same thing, although last time I think it was even worse since there was already one out.It does not make sense at all.
