Kevin Gregg has continually put himself in positions to fail all year . It seems like the guy walks the first batter evrytime . He is probably the worst closer in baseball , and this is not an overreaction from tonight all year the guy has been sketchy . I think Nelson is th best option at this point he at least throws strikes and the other team has to beat him whereas Gregg hands games over to the other team .

He obviously isnt a long term solution but the guy doesnt usually beat himself and so far has done well . maybe closer by committee is the way to go

I think that's his fifth blown save, if he keeps up the pace he will probably have somewhere around 10-12 blown saves by the end of the season. That could be the difference between us making the playoffs or staying home. If it wasn't for Gregg we would be somewhere around 2.5 games up on the NL East standings.

I suppose we could just play the "Were not supposed to be here anyway" card.
