Oh My God!
Does anyone know if the gate times are still 3 hours prior to the game for parking and 2 hours for the stadium?

You cannot protest a judgement call.

Sit the Sea Bass!
Between the double play and the Giambi play, he earned his keep today. With out those two plays, this game could have gone the other way. Plus, the play where he nearly go Soriano out at first was great. Anyone else would have been out.

Conservation
Is is far less expensive and far more energy efficient to recycle aluminum than to extract it from bauxite. The same is true with recycled plastics. Paper recycling is currently slightly less energy efficient (there are new methods being developed), but does preserve natural resources.

Conservation
I don't know about the air. The EPA has been trying to cut the safe level from the 50 ppb to 10 ppb. http://www.epa.gov/safewater/arsenic.html The golf course superintendents spokesman sounds like a tobacco lobbyist.

Conservation
here is an interesting dilmenia.... can one enjoy auto racing and be a conservationsist at the same time? Or a golfer. The chemicals used on the course are highly toxic. Some course even use arsenic. http://www.naplesnews.com/03/08/naples/d982697a.htm

"Friendly" Confines
"At the same time, I feel sorry for the guy," Alou added. "Everybody who goes to a ballpark wants a baseball. Hopefully, he doesn't have to regret it for the rest of his life." Way to go, Moises

Question about the fan
According to the so-called "official" board, on the Cubs MLB board they posted a thread listing the guys name, address, where he worked. Then they had to delete the thread. Pretty sick. Quoting myself here. It must have been true. They just MLB just deleted the thread referring to the Cubs thread.

Chicago Media Confident
Anyone remember the newpaper in the famous "Dewey Defeats Truman" photo?

Wayne Huizenga. Cubs Fan.
Further proof that Selig needs to finally put on the brass ones and have MLB step in and negotiate a better lease. Huge confilict of interest here. Also, if Taliabue had any integrity whatsoever, seeing what Wayne did to the Marlins, he'd get him out of the NFL. He's a disgrace to all sports and the human race.

Jeter disrespected us
Jeter is the most overrated player in the MLB. There is no way he is the best SS in the league like some try to claim, he isn't even the best SS in his division for God's sake. Plays by Yankees SS actually go up when he's out of the game.

Mark "The Messiah" Says Florida fans "the worst"
So, somebody that has the time and energy, check the Marlin's attendance figures for last year and compare them with this years. We're up 60% for the regular season. Counting post-season sales to date, we're up 102%. BTW - in the modern era, who has higher average attendance Cubs or Marlins?

take Ramp to Unos.
Please Lord, don't allow a Cubs Yankees world series -- they'll argue over pizza. Chicago Pizza is the best anywhere

Maennergarten
BERLIN - German women tired of taking their husbands on weekend shopping trips can now drop them off at a special kindergarten for men offering beer and entertainment. "The women are issued a receipt for their partners when they hand them in and can pick up again when they return it to us later," Alexander Stein, manager of the 'Nox Bar' said. Each man receives a name badge upon arrival and for 10 euros ($11.80) they get two beers, a hot meal, televised football and games. Stein said the idea for the men's creche, or "Maennergarten," came from a female customer who felt it would be a good way to get rid of her husband while she shopped. "It beats sitting around in shoe shops, that's for sure," remarked one man.

AMAZING GAME
did anyone else notice how the anouncers cheered when Sosa homered and there was dead silence when Mikey went Yard-O? Did you notice that they even said Lowell's was the only one the wind assisted?

Marlins and Cubs
It sounds like we have no pitching staff. Right now, I'd argue that Beckett has the best stuff in baseball.

Internet Browsers
Mozilla for it's tabbed (multizilla) interface, mouse gestures (optimoz) and consistency between my Windows and Linux machines. I'm also playing around with Firebird (the future of Mozilla). I've had XHTML problems with Opera on some sites, and like the Mozilla interface better anyway. Cannot stand Internet Exlpoder.
