  1. Ozzie's 2 favorite players on the team are Hanley and Solano.
  2. Hanley sucking again...
  3. Stanton currently has 67 career HRs...needs 33 more this season to reach 100 career HRs. would be the 4th youngest in MLB history to do so behind Mel Ott, Eddie Matthews, and Tony Conigliaro
  4. Another bomb to straight away center
  5. Good. So Giancarlo has now hit the longest homeruns ever in Marlins Park and Citi Field
  6. As of 05-18-2012: YELICH: .297 AVG | .376 OBP | .585 SLG | .961 OPS | 9 SB in 32 games Leads the league in ISO by a comfortable 38 point margin.
  7. Yelichs .288 ISO leads the FSL and it isn't even close. The guy in 2nd place has a .250 ISO.
  8. Yelich has to cut down on his Ks, and show he can hit lefties consistently. Otherwise, looks like he can become a future .290-25-25 guy. He certainly has the range to play CF, maybe thats why they put him there. But how is he on reads? His average arm at CF is sufficient since he has the speed to track down balls in a position that covers alot of ground; a more important attribute.
  9. Josh Hamilton (Mickey Mantle) vs. Giancarlo Stanton (Willie Mays) Battle of the Bunyans. Who will prevail?
  10. Adam Conley keeps on dealing. And Yelich goes 0-5 but still scores 3 runs....wtf? He reached base on error by the opposing second baseman...3 CONSECUTIVE TIMES!!
  11. ^^^ He went 0-5 today with a K and an SB. He grounded into fielding error by the opposing 2B....ON HIS FIRST THREE AT-BATS, scoring on all 3 of them. Wierd.
  12. We might see him get fast tracked like Stanton if continues at this trend. He may be in Jax by July. And, if he rakes there, don't be surprised to see him at the #2 hole this Sept. in a Miami Marlins uni. Assuming that he continues his stellar hitting here and AA, there would be nothing to prove in 2013. His weakness hitting against lefties isn't a concern for me, although it draws some concern.
  13. Has Bell ever looked into stand up comedy?
  14. Hanley bomb last night was Stantonesque.
  15. 100 career HRs by the end of the season? He needs 38 more. Can he do it?
  16. 3 million for this?
  17. Marlins starting pitching as good as any teams right now...just imagine when JJ and Bell finally wake up...
  18. Hayes 100% CS rate on 1 attempt this season...career 30% on 47 attempts Buck 23% CS rate on 13 attempts...career 24% on 539 attempts And they both weren't that good in the minors neither. Meanwhile, there's every reason to be excited about this little young catcher in Jupiter by the name of Jacob Realmuto: .304 AVG | .429 OBP | .457 SLG | .885 OPS | 4 SB in 12 games | 16.1% BB% | 7.14% K% all this while throwing out 50% of potential base stealers in 10 attempts (career 42% CS rate). Future 5 tool player.
  19. Realmuto's improved plate discipline and defense is making Skipworth an afterthought.
  20. 2015 Marlins lineup SS Reyes C Realmuto 3B Hanley CF Yelich RF Stanton LF LoMo 2B Infante 1B Rieger P JJ
  21. Yelich, Realmuto and Ryan Rieger are very interesting prospects I'm looking at right now. I think they will perform past everyones expectations.
  22. Our current logo is better than all of those other ones
  23. Realmuto future 5 tool catcher...Ryan Rieger from Greensboro is another cat to look at. I think he was impressive in the GCL last season both short season and their playoffs.
  24. Watch out for Ryan Rieger from Greensboro. He's gonna do big things.
