how come nobody is taking into account that our infield defense should be better this year? This should help out guys like volstad who is a groundball pitcher. I'm not saying this will make our pitchers cy winners but it should help their numbers.....am i wrong in thinking this way? The Marlins are going after Carlos Guillen for the utility role. Petersen and Coghlan will battle for the 4OF spot in ST unless Andrew Jones signs with us. I wonder if Dobbs is waiting for a two year deal to sign. He better hurry and sign because if we land Posada he´s out of luck.

Are you guys listening to the supposed offers we sent to Pujols and CJ? 275 and 100.. thats insane It appears that fielders body is a turnoff to the marlins, and he cant be marketed in south florida like Pujols, but that a bit of b.s. The d-train and J.P are loved down here, and so are the heat. Miami loves stars regardless of color, but yea if they speak spanish a huge bonus.

Does it not just work like soccer transfers? Make a bid, if accepted you talk to the player. If nothing is agreed, you dont need to pay the transfer fee. Sort of, but in soccer theres no blind bids.
