Glad to see it was a minor league deal. If it was anything more than that we overpaid. If he can stay healthy he could be a cheap option for CF or more likely the bench.

I'm just glad he can't kill us anymore.

He's good at running into walls.

He was great for Ozzie in 05, and I love that the Giants get to pay him 12 mil minus the minimum to play on our team. In the end though I am just glad they are picking up minor league depth. We are going to need it.

That's what my thinking was. He was always a Marlin killer. That's what I hate about the Phillies getting Ty Wiggington, he's another Marlins killer.

Considering he's not too far removed from some success as opposed to being 5 or 6 years past his usefulness, he could be a valuable bench piece. I like it

He put up solid numbers against LHP last season and raked as a PH. Great signing, plus he gold glove caliber defender and will replace Lomo late in games. Now go get Dobbs.
