id definitely love calipari jarvis would be very good, but he did not have a good last few years in st johns but i think the guy id want the most is matt doherty. he has experience in ACC basketball and i think that he was just too green to coach at UNC. Miami would be a good fit. he is a great recruiter and brings a lot of energy to the table

after thinking about it, i like the idea of both of the banners on the right field wall i think the art dealer in loria will do something extravagant that will knock our socks off....ok not really. but it will be a very nice banner i think they should cover up the ring of honor during marlins season. it should have a thing for carl barger, jackie robinson (mlb retired #42), and markers for both our world series triumphs

Today is a "make it or break it" day for Tommy Phelps. McKeon is giving Phelps the start today against the Cardinals to get a better look at the young pitcher. Today will go a long way in determining whether or not Phelps is on the roster on April 6th. Dontrelle Willis will be starting in a minor league game this afternoon to log some innings, McKeon wants to take a serious look at 4 of the guys competing for roster spots today. Slated to pitch are Tommy Phelps, Toby Borland, Mike Neu, and Blaine Neal. this is the only reason to watch spring training its really interesting to see how one start can determine a guys place on the team

i have a great idea. how about the marlins get a new stadium, and they can put BOTH banners somewhere in straight away center field. they can even have a section for all their achievements. i think this would be the best option i like it, but apparently there are several groups of people from the city and county in our way that have their heads up their asses and build garbage museums and perf arts centers instead of a home for the champs

david samson was just on This Week on WPLG they talked about 4 sites: Orange Bowl, Miami Arena, Bicentennial Park, and the PPS area of course, the first 3 sites are pretty much out of the question the only one that had pretty much any hope is the huge empty site near PPS i think the new ballpark will be, unfortunately, next to PPS, a site too far away from Miami
