Is NHL a dead league?
The NBA and NHL are in the same sinking boat. Their best hope is to cooperate like the NFL and MLB did in the 60's. the NBA might be losing dollars due to the loss michael, but theyre not even close to the NHL the NHL is the titanic. it will sink, unlike the NBA

For those who worry bout benitez getting worn out
we need a guy like bump or perisho or phelps to step up and go 2 innings to finish the game to give benitez a break

Is NHL a dead league?
The answer to your question is hopefully. Give me more hoops on ESPN. :mad : :mad : :mad : You have no idea what you are talking about... Basketball=Horrible nowadays. :thumbdown Hockey is life. yeah, the NHL is in much better shape than the NBA. i always see kids wearing throwback NHL jerseys and talking about the sick move rick nash made last night against calgary. and the coverage of the NHL and the ratings are incredible in other words, the NBA might just be in a little better shape than the NHL :cool

PAX SUCKS!!!
I assume everyone else had the same problem as me at the beginning of the game, slipping in and out of coverage. i didn't notice anything... are you talking about reception maybe? i was watchin on cable... the only problem i know of came in the 1st when PAX lost their signale for a batter or two in other words, there wasnt a problem

WAY TO GO LEFTY!!!!

OK here is Marlins TV coverage works
Well, technically Marlins Baseball on PAX 35 is paid programming. FSN buys time on PAX and produces the games, sells the ads, and reaps the profits. cape, MLB Baseball and paid programming are 2 different things, so dont get technical besides, on cable it says MLB Baseball and not paid programming

PAX SUCKS!!!
my only complaint about PAX is that they dont carry marlins on deck or any type of postgame show. also there was that problem in the 1st inning, but that was fixed all in all, im happy with PAX, but it would be nice if the marlins had 150 games on cable

OK here is Marlins TV coverage works
3)...and Have Dish Network? You can get Fox Sports Net Florida on channel 423. You can also get PAX 35 on channel 8843 in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale locals package or PAX 67 on channel 8871 in the Palm Beach locals package. cape i get the miami locals package and i have WPXM-35 as channel 35 as well as 8843 id assume that the palm beach package has PAX-67 on channel 67 also p.s. i did get the game today on 35 (on dish network) but on the guide it said "paid programming". i dont know if theyll fix that or if itll be that way all year

Game 4 Attendance
It's not because people follow them ad nauseum, it's that they follow them ad nasuem when they don't win anything. And it's not like I have anything against the Phins. I didn't grow up here and never really adopted the team, and frankly I couldn't care less about the AFC in general or the AFC East specifically. They don't ever win anything, that's the problem. So what if they never win anything? That's bandwagon speak. Aren't we supposed to stick with our teams through the hard times? I probably went to 20 Marlins games in both 1998 and 1999. Where were you? I hate the Dolphins...and I love them. They're the first team I've ever pulled for, and I used to go to every game. But I think not actually being there for the games any longer, and watching all the games on TV, and seeing them underachieve and choke, and play like pansies every December, and the fact that Wanny makes me nauseous...well, it's a very difficult relationship. It's impossible to describe. I'm digressing. The basic point of my post is this: Your attitude toward the Dolphins is stupid. No offense intended. i agree with ya mabdul all this hating on the phins is total bandwagon speak you all say you hate them cuz of their exploitation of the fans and this and that but the bottom line is you guys hate on the phins cuz they havent made the playoffs in 2 seasons. thats it and we so quickly forget that this team that hasnt done anything in 30 years went to the playoffs 4 or 5 seasons in a row and followed up a dissapointing 9-7 season with 10 wins last year sure their underacheiving, but if you kick em while teyre down, ur just a stinkin BANDWAGONER

Game 4 Attendance
well considering that the miami fans have blindly followed that team for years.... when now they are the 3rd best in the city. its called karma. they have taken advantage of the bandwagon fan for too long and now its biting them in the ass. you could say the same about the marlins 1998-may 2003 but theyre a fine team, considering theyre "rebuilding" please explain how they are taking advantage of fans

Game 4 Attendance
Considering there were 20,000+ at the AAA tonight for the Heat, 23,000 is a very respectable showing. And the best part is all those sports entertainment dollars the Marlins and heat are sucking out of South Florida all come at the expense of the Dolphins. why hate on the fins? sure we all hate h wayne, but that doesnt mean you gotta hate on the fins

Anyone watching ESPN?
i have no problem with the yanks doing what they do. i do have a problem with MLB not stepping in and putting in a cap lets face it. if there is all this money rolling in and there was no limit on how much you could spend, you should spend it. at least the yanks put their cash back into their club but MLB has to put in a cap. the yankees are unfair to baseball, but thats bud & co.'s fault, not the yankees
