This Hurricanes team fought back and overcame some poor offensive play and won it for Pata. I was there tonight and the standing ovation given to Pata was awesome but the moment of silence that followed was the most chilling and aweinspiring thing I've ever seen. The entire Orange Bowl was quiet. And at the end of the game, the banner for Pata was taken by the players marched around to midfield and they all knelt to it. Great job to end the season on a high note! Have you never seen a moment of silence at a sporting event? I didnt think UM handled honoring Pata before the game all that well. I think it wouldve been better had the moment of silence been for when he was going to run out Now after the game, THAT was chilling. All the players going to midfield and praying around the Pata banner was really touching

Its as good as an FM transmitter can be, very easy to use with the LCD display and its a pretty good looking product. It works a little bit better up here in Chapel Hill and smaller radio markets because there are fewer radio stations than in a big market like Miami, so its easier to find a good station. Also it generally works much better when using a home stereo than in the car. Just about the only thing to be warned about this thing is that it uses the iPod battery, so be sure you either charge while you use the iTrip or right after youre done using it.

I hate how everyone says we're an old team. Posey, Haslem, Wade, Williams, and Wright are all young and quick as hell. Williams may be 31 but he's still one of our quickest guys. Being a veteren does not make you old and slow. Walker is 30 and yeah he moves slow but he's not old. He has skills but he doesn't use them properly. What the hell, I hate when people bring that up. Shaq, Zo, and Payton are the only old guys we have and their minutes are limited. The Heat are the oldest team in the NBA. Miami AVG Age: 27.6 Houston AVG Age: 27.6 Detroit AVG Age: 27.8 Phoenix AVG Age: 28.9 San Antonio: 29.4 Age obviously doesn't matter. The second "oldest" team in the NBA is the one that plays the most up tempo style. It means nothing. And the Mavs, Kings, and Cavs are right behind us in age so do you consider them old teams? 3 players (Shaq, Zo, Payton) make us an old team. Without those three, our AVG Age is 25.5. ok, so I guess my source sucked. my bad regardless, i dont see how you can just go about recalculating the Heats avg age after taking out guys who average 32, 31 and 20 minutes a game and say that the Heat arent old and fwiw, i think 2 big problems for the Heat besides age are that 1) the older guys like Zo and GP wont play as hard as last year b/c they already gotten their titles and 2) Antoine Walker starts.
