If this is true (since nothing is official just yet), I'm pretty surprised by this news. I would've thought Davis would wait for a bigger job like The U to come up. Also, I've heard his wife isn't too fond of Chapel Hill and would prefer to be closer to the water. Should this happen, major props to AD Dick Baddour. Hes been on the hot seat for a few years now b/c of the Matt Doherty Error and the hirings of Carl Torbush and John Bunting. I would think this takes him off the hot seat. Hopefully now Butch can produce a good team by the time I graduate here.

College Basketball games are probably the most exciting sporting events (outside of good football games). well yea... :thumbup I hate watching the NBA. It would be on the bottom of my list of all the major sports, including college football and basketball Ya, it's all opinionated obviously. There are actually people who like to watch hockey out there too. Hockey is actually one of the most exciting sports there is. And it's one of the only sports that can actually call itself a sport anymore. I'll take watching a Panthers game over watching a Heat game with Dwayne "breathe on me and it's a foul" Wade any day of the week. If someone "fouls" you during a hockey game, it's legal to kick the sh*t out of them. Unfortunately you are in the minority on this one. understatement of the year saying Hockey is more exciting than the NBA is ridiculous

I think he got a bit of bad rap when he was here, because he had to do a lot of things he wasn't capable of, but I'll always have fond memories. Have fun with whatever you do, Brian. Yeah, he got blamed for the team's lacking of a low post presence, and it really wasnt fair to him. He was put in a tough position because he was brought in for his rebounding at the 4 but was stuck at the 5 after Zo went out, but he never complained about playing out of position and always gave everything he had Heres to you Brian, good luck with whatever you do after basketball

Looking forward to Miami-Georgia Tech at 3:30. This is the first of 3 games down the stretch for The U that they absolutely must win to salvage the season. I wouldnt bet against them today. Also at 3:30 I'm going to Wake Forest-UNC. It's shocking to me that this is a 6-1 vs. 1-6 game. It'll be interesting to see how the fans treat Bunting now that hes been fired; also I wonder how the players respond to it.

The Steve Irwin bit was pretty funny, although probably in poor taste. meh...maybe just putting him on the show at all is too soon and in bad taste, but i dont think they really crossed any lines with what they did or how they portrayed him overall very good episode
