If this was FSU, the jibes would be streaming in this thread... UF has no expectations, if this was an FSU Prof. could you stand how many people would be ashamed of him. He would also get one of those nice little papers from FSUPD telling him to appear. keep dreaming buddy. nobody gets summons for being high w/o possesion, anywhere, and especially not in a classroom if someone associated with FSU was sh*tfaced during class, nobody would be surprised. in fact it would probably explain alot. UF is on a higher level than FSU (no pun intended)

Think this'll be a big story on the Spanish tv stations, etc? Will having a homegrown manager, who is Cuban as well, bring people out to the ballpark or is this community too apathetic? The community is too apathetic. Only winning brings people out, and even that wears off

I dont think ST has an effect on attendence The bottom line is most people in Miami-Dade never go to ST games. The closest site is in Fort Lauderdale, and other than the couple of Marlins games there every March, theres no reason to go to those games either. ST games are dominated by fans of the teams playing or by locals. Neither play a role in Marlins attendence

Sports Illustrated picked us to finish dead last, worse than the Royals. Not that I ever take that former quality magazine seriously (after all, they picked Oregon State to win it all a few years ago), but they were still dead wrong
