Fins
i believe this team will go 8-9, yes tthat means we make the playoffs but i just dont see us getting past the first round THIS YEAR. Next year once we get omar jacobs or whoever we get, WE will def be a contender, in my booy at least! impossible besides if we do win 8 or 9 games thats not good enough for the AFC playoffs

Villone + Messenger = White Flag
I wish Jack would find another option besides Villone when we are behind, but still in the game. Messenger and Villone have the highest WHIPs in the entire bullpen. Sending them into the game is equivalent to waving the white flag. Villone is sporting a 7.50+ ERA since joining the Marlins. Messenger is about a sure of a bet as there is to allow inherited runners to score. How about trying out Resop or Johnson? They sure couldn't be worse. 946392 well he didnt work either this game will never end

They've got a great stadium downtown, a team in the playoff race, the most importnat series of the year, they just got back from a road trip and Dontrelle pitching. Only 27K show up in Houston? We're not the only team with attendance problems. 942911 you are stupid. and on the weekends houston sells out games. when did we last have a sellout. hell when did we last have 27k on a monday night? way to compare apples to oranges. you want a fact, i'll give you one: average attendance Houston 34,315 83% full 11th in baseball Florida 22,935 63% full 28th in baseball I say it again. You are stupid. 943425 We had 27K on weeknights in September 2003 when we had homegames against teh Phillies. They have a great ballpark right downtown and the two teams tied for the wild card playing. If this game was played here we'd probably have 23 or 24 and we have a dump in the middle of nowhere. Them getting big crowds on weekends doesn't show anything about how good fans they have if no one shows up for a huge series like this. and don't call me stupid you gay ass old man 943674 oh...its on :lol miami15s right. its september, as close as a race could possibly get, and Houston has one of the nicest downtown ballparks. so 27K is inexcusable

Pedro Gomez
Pedro Gomez pops out of Barry Bonds?s birthday cake Injured Giants slugger Barry Bonds was treated to a surprise party by friends and family on his 41st birthday on Sunday, but the event turned south when ESPN reporter Pedro Gomez burst out of Bonds?s giant cake. ?Ah, jeez ? you again? How did you get in there? Can?t you just give me some friggin? peace?? said Bonds after Gomez emerged and began peppering him with questions. ?There?s nothing new to report, okay? I?m still rehabbing my knee and I won?t be back until it?s completely healed. That?s it, that?s all. Now please go away.? After being brushed off by Bonds yet again, Gomez ? covered in cake crumbs and icing ? filed a report live on ?SportsCenter? from Bonds?s front porch. ?Barry?s strength is clearly returning,? reported Gomez. ?I could feel his power when he punched me in the stomach. And his knee seemed to suffer no ill effects from lifting me over his head and throwing me out onto the porch. For ESPN, I?m Pedro Gomez.? from SportsPickle.com
