Jim Rome bashes AJ

This is a quote from todays Jim Rome Show. You can go to JimRome.com and also read it there.

"The Florida Marlins are officially dead in the water. Starter A.J. Burnett unloaded on his manager and teammates?quote: ?We play scared. We manage scared, we coach scared and I?m sick of it, man. It?s depressing around here. It?s like they expect us to mess up. Guys are busting their (tails) yet you still hear negativity. I?m not saying no names, just too much negativity.? You didn?t need to say ?no names?.

If Burnett has something to say his manager Jack McKeon, tell him not us. As far as it being ?depressing?, I would imagine Burnett?s teammates were pretty depressed when he walked two guys with the bases loaded last week in a big game against Houston.

Despite evidence that Burnett has an electric arm, he doesn?t have either the make up or accountability to go along with it. And no, I don?t want your mother calling me to complain like she did after that wretched 8 walk no hitter you threw a couple of years ago (check the number of walks)."

:notworthy :thumbup

Jim Rome is about the biggest tool in the world but he's dead on right here

read that in Rome's voice. it's 100 times funnier :)

haha, I read it in his voice without even noticing until I read your post

me too....It was Grrrrrrreat

I love how there are a few guys who write exactly the way they speak, so when you read their words, you actually read in their voice (yes, I did without even thinking about it until it was pointed out).

I usually hate Rome, but he and I are on the same side of the fence here.

So Funny so many people were so upset about Aj leaving and now majority of posters cant wait for the Door to hit Aj in the ass on the way out. I cant wait for him to bring his electric arm to NY and then just throw to posada and not pitch, watch how fast he gets booed.

I think back in the middle of the season he came out and burned lowell about his production and accused him of some sort of strength enhancement

Jim Rome's show is a parody, right? I mean no one can suck that much without it being intentional.

although I do like the quote in this instance...

Any show where Roger Lodge is an analyst has no credibility in my book.
