Beane didnt ask for the attention or the hype...Hes an above average GM and usually his critics beef him up so much its impossible not to call him overrated. Its kind of silly. Do something new and creative -- achieve success with it and be called overrated.

Shamrizzle i know your a fan of his work but you cant tell me he isnt over hyped. if it is his own doing or the medias he is still over hyped.

 

I like him alot more than his former boss Alderson but if i had a franchise and could choose any GM he wouldnt be one of my first picks.

The only thing this guy said that makes any sense is the fact that the Tigers may end up having to dump $$$ in a few seasons. Their attendance has not been good, since Comerica opened. Otherwise the guy is a complete doofus.
