Anyone see the orange t-shirt jerseys? This franchise is heading in the wrong direction. They also have pink ones, but thats acceptable.

 

I guess orange is really going to be a part of the Marlins in years to come.

I was just getting ready to post this my friend noticed it and I couldnt belive it. They are slowy bringing to us, 1st the cheerleaders, 2nd during the Pax games they have it up top and now these. I hope that I dont see an orange jersey on the field next year, we are not the Dolphins and need to make our own identiy. How much would that suck if we finally leave the Dolphins stadium but then have to wear an orange jersey. Somebody needs to throw these things out and we need to boycott if the Marlins begin to wear them.

If they go put out orange unis everyone will complain and they will be forced go back to teal. The Blue Jays changed the colors of their road unis because the fans complained about the color, now they are gray.

Yeah. I noticed them in the Sea Traders shops, and they look terrible.

I highly doubt the Marlins themselves would ever wear a orange jersey on the field...the Yankees sell their logo in every color from baby blue to baby s*** green; it's all about merchandising. As long as the powder pink and orange shirts sell, they're going to be available to the fans. Look around Pro Player, a lot of people wear orange, from the Dolphins jersies (which I saw a few of) to the new orange shirts, to just ordinary clothes that were orange (I don't know why, but I saw a few of these too), orange is a popular color.

 

If Loria can make some money off of this craze for orange, I'm all for it...it means we'll have some money to throw at Pavano and Penny in the offseason.

The only time I bitched in the game topic was 2 days ago when I called it Negative Night. I never say a player sucks unless they do suck. I don't say Cabrera sucks because he's slumping. I was about to say the same thing. It's my favorite color but the Fish are known for their teal. You can't just make a color change all of a sudden. And orange is no wehre near teal. If you're gonna change it at least change it to dark teal or light teal. Don't just pull orange out your ass!

thats a good point. i have a blue dolphins jersey but they dont wear blue. theyre probably just selling the orange jersey for merchandising like you see other franchises sell their clothing in different colors... i hope.

Cabrera's wife (Rosangel) had her husband's jersey on today and it was orange,looked nice but i still dont like the color,i wanna buy the pink one!

I think they're tryin to associate the Marlins to closely with the Dolphins and U of Miami. The Dolphins have orange as an alternate color and the Marlins have black. It should stay that way.

Yes I noticed them today, they are freakin disgusting. I Really DO NOT like this trend.

It's bad enough they went away from the teal...I just gotuse to their Men In Black look from last year...I hope it is just a merchandise gimmick like the Yankees do where they sell their jersey's and hats in every color but dont use them in games
