June 26, 200422 yr CF- Pierre 2B- Luiy RF- Cabrera 3B- Lowell SS- Gonzalez 1B- Choi C- Treanor DH- Willis LF- Conine Only reason Choi isn't third or fourth is because of the lefty factor And I am 100% serious with this.
June 26, 200422 yr I just PRAY that we don't see... JP Louie Mikey Cabs Conine Easley Remdond Gonzalez DH That would SO piss me off.
June 26, 200422 yr No Conine and Gonzalez batting 5th is way too high. Other than that the lineup is pretty solid. :thumbup
June 26, 200422 yr I just PRAY that we don't see... JP Louie Mikey Cabs Conine Easley Remdond Gonzalez DH That would SO piss me off. LOL. Sad but true
June 26, 200422 yr No Conine and Gonzalez batting 5th is way too high. Other than that the lineup is pretty solid. :thumbup I figure why not? He's been productive with RISP, alot better than most of the team, and hitting in front of a patient bopper like Choi might get him to have a big night. Only cuz it's a lefty.
June 26, 200422 yr sad thing is that DTrain is probably our best bat off the bench There is no doubt in my mind he is.
June 26, 200422 yr sad thing is that DTrain is probably our best bat off the bench True and sad. We should trade for Brooks Kieschnick and then we'll be ok.
June 26, 200422 yr I just PRAY that we don't see... JP Louie Mikey Cabs Conine Easley Remdond Gonzalez DH That would SO piss me off. Start getting pissed now for warm up....

June 26, 200422 yr sad thing is that DTrain is probably our best bat off the bench Tejera is a good hitter too.
June 26, 200422 yr sad thing is that DTrain is probably our best bat off the bench Tejera is a good hitter too. yeah he was hitting over .300 at Albuquerque.
June 26, 200422 yr Tejera had a big hit a couple years back against the D-Rays. The man is a good Athlete! :thumbup
June 26, 200422 yr sad thing is that DTrain is probably our best bat off the bench Tejera is a good hitter too. Too bad he's a crap pitcher. You know what wil suck about tomorrow's lineup? Every starter is struggling but Choi and he'll be the only one benched.
June 26, 200422 yr sad thing is that DTrain is probably our best bat off the bench Tejera is a good hitter too. yeah he was hitting over .300 at Albuquerque. so is everybody. But yeah he's a good hitter.
June 26, 200422 yr Not a bad line-up, BUT how about getting Nunez some at bats as DH. Or since its a lefty batting Redman as DH and still catch Treanor.
June 26, 200422 yr Not a bad line-up, BUT how about getting Nunez some at bats as DH. Or since its a lefty batting Redman as DH and still catch Treanor. Cuz Redman plays for the A's and because Willis is a better hitter than Nu?ez
June 26, 200422 yr because if a catcher gets hurt you are screwed then Well according to most recent posts the Marlins are screwed anyway. Plus there's always Mordy.
June 26, 200422 yr I would seriously DH Willis, if nothing else, to send a message to the rest of the team.
June 26, 200422 yr i say use nunez for the hell of it at LF and move him to the 3 spot please dont make fun of me
June 26, 200422 yr I posted this in another folder, but it makes sense here too. 1. Castillo: In the # 1 slot he is batting .347 and K's 5.3% of the time. In the # 2 spot he is batting .260 and strikes out 12.2% of the time. 2. Pierre: In the # 2 spot he bats .265 and strikes out 7.3% of the time. In the # 1 spot he bats .319 and strikes out 8.8% of the time 3. Mike Redmond: Did you know that Red is 24-82 (.293 average) the past three seasons as a # 3 hitter? How about that he has a .379 average this season when runners are on base and .205 when the bases are empty? If Pierre or Castillo can get on this feeds into Red's numbers. 4. Mike Lowell: Best man for the job. 5. Miguel Cabrera: He batted .320 in this slot in 2003 and according to ESPN has just 3 at bats this season in the # 5 hole and is 3-3. 6. Hee Seop Choi: This spot he is batting .289 and has his lowest strikeout % (21%). Bat him 5th with the same amount of at bats and his strikout % is 32%. 7. Jeff Conine: Funny how this works out but over the past three seasons he is batting .381 in the # 7 hole and this season is 3-5 batting 7th. I thought he had more at bats in the 7 spot but ESPN says no. 8. Sea Bass: I'd rather he bat 7th, but moving Redmond up leaves only the 8 spot for Alex.
