CapeFish
After 53 home games, we have drawn 1,158,182 fans or about 21,852 a game according to ESPN.com
CapeFish
Behind Minnesota, in front of Cleveland. We are #25 I believe.
PhishPhan
People down there seem to be really energized by the trades. Anybody notice that? 501533 There are hints of 2003 in the air, perhaps it is people becoming just a little more hopeful. People remember how they got hot and ran away with it, and maybe they think they can conjure up that magic again. But, if they fall more than 8 games out of the WC or division race, the crowds will disappear, especially since football, BB and even hockey is rolling around. The Heat expectations are through the roof. Miami-Fsu is a few weeks away, this is still a football town. And if there is an NHL season, the Panthers will be a top 5 team in the Eastern Confrence, they had an A+ offseason. Unless the Marlins make a serious run they will quickly become an afterthought. Breck Fish
It's all LoDuca, his chemistry and leadership has increased fan volume and rabidness by 15 to 25 percent. That and the high socks.
CapeFish
We need to pick up the pace to get over 2 million for the season, but a good run should pack them in.

CapeFish
you call 21K on a FRI and 22K on a SAT good????? :plain 501547 Consistency during the week has gotten better, that means we have established that some bandwagoners have become big fans. Weekends will go up soon, the Brewers aren't the best of draws anyways.

It's not "just" the Brewers, it's the Marlins too.

CapeFish
40k was only like 4 games to start the season, it has been about 25-30k on sat.
RockyMountainMarlin
40k was the first games and when the Mets/Cubs/Yankees/RedSox are playing. Attendance is pretty good considering we are in a slump and its hot as hell out there.
FishFan24
you call 21K on a FRI and 22K on a SAT good????? :plain Better than the 14 or 15 the Fish would have gotten last year at the same time. :plain :plain
CapeFish
You take improvement where you can get it. You see weekday games have better attendance. this upcoming Cards series may not draw as well because of school starting up soon, but it will draw. Flamarlins3
You have to remember it is against the Brewers too, that team is not going to draw very well in any situation, but a 21,000 average is damn good in my book. As long as can keep it above that for the rest of the season Loria I'm sure will be thrilled
Hotcorner
yeah I think the 22/23 K numbers are party due to the fact we were playing the Brewers which is not exactly a great draw... but 22K sucks for a Saturday night. generally the crowds have been pretty good I think. MarlinFan10
Crowds will go up once St. Louis comes to town.
Hollyberry
but 22K sucks for a Saturday night. 501723 I think that the early rain scared some fans away!

I bet at least 4 thousand people saw that here & stayed home. :mischief
Foladar
40k was only like 4 games to start the season, it has been about 25-30k on sat. 501661 No. I've been to atleast three games with 40k+ and one was in May. I've only went to one "early" game and that was on April 24.
