March 13, 200521 yr My vote goes to Aramis Ramirez.. I think he's going to put #s similiar to Adrian Beltre last year.
March 13, 200521 yr How about Abreu doing 40-40 this year, but I guess he's sort of established already. I'll go with Matt Holliday...he's got some pop and he plays in Coors, what more could you ask for?
March 13, 200521 yr Canada's own Rich Harden for sure. On the A's, I also think Chavez is due for a monster season if he can stay healthy. 40 some homers/120 RBIs/high OBP/gold glove defence kind of stuff. In that division, I think Teixeira is also gonna have a monster season. I also see C.C. Sabathia finally becoming a legit ace this year. He's been very good for a few years, he's ''due'' to take that next step and he's still soooo young. Good call on Aramis, I also see Barrett having a big time offensive season for a catcher. He's always had a world of talent and he finally started putting it all together in recent seasons. Adam Dunn should have a simply huge season, his RBIs will really increase if Kearns and Junior are healthy and hitting in front or behind him. On the Fish, I expect Burnett to have a great season. He's getting healthy and he's closing on FA, he's got all the talent in the world and I can see him really blossoming this year. Finally, if the Phillies give Chase Utley 500 at-bats and stop giving Polanco so much time, Utley will quickly become one of the top offensive 2B's in all of baseball.
March 13, 200521 yr A.J. Burnett Dallas McPherson David Wright Miguel Cabrera Rich Harden Mark Texiera Michael Young Austin Kearns Travis Hafner Alex Gonzalez Wade Miller Joe Mauer
March 13, 200521 yr Miguel Cabrera Mark Texiera Michael Young Travis Hafner 709044 They all had breakout years LAST year.....so are you saying they will hit 50 or what?
March 13, 200521 yr FYI, Fantasy geeks, Dallas McPherson has a disc problem and that could be the kind of nagging injury that means he won't play much this year. A few others: Corey Patterson Pat Burrell Brad Penny Hank Blalock David Wright Ken Griffey, Jr.
March 13, 200521 yr Miguel Cabrera Mark Texiera Michael Young Travis Hafner 709044 They all had breakout years LAST year.....so are you saying they will hit 50 or what? 709094 They all had breakout years, yes, but none have yet reached the level they should be on...
March 13, 200521 yr Joe Mauer Jose Reyes Risky bets there cap'n 709359 I was thinking the same thing, those 2 guys are made of glass.
March 13, 200521 yr Joe Mauer Jose Reyes Risky bets there cap'n 709359 I was thinking the same thing, those 2 guys are made of glass. 709367 Isn't Mauer gonna miss the start of the season?
March 13, 200521 yr Anyway I'll say: Juan Encarnacion because this guy needs to step up otherwise I will never like him again. Andruw Jones.
March 13, 200521 yr Edwin Jackson, if he is in the starting rotation the entire season. 709303 I think Jackson is gonna have a great year but you're right he needs to be in the rotation for the entire season.
March 14, 200521 yr Joe Mauer Jose Reyes Risky bets there cap'n 709359 I was thinking the same thing, those 2 guys are made of glass. 709367 Isn't Mauer gonna miss the start of the season? 709368 I am pretty sure Mauer is fine, you are probably thinking of another young stud Twins hitting prospect, OF Jason Kubel who is out for the year with a torn ligament in his knee.

I just looked up news articles and they said he is doing better than expected and should be back behind the plate soon.
