March 31, 200521 yr Not really surprised as neither really had that great of springs, plus the Marlins need Willingham to display his stuff on an everyday basis if they are gonna use him as trade bait in July. It sucks that he is pretty much blocked at every single position.

Willingham would have been useful as the emergency catcher and a power bat off the bench. Willingham is MLB ready, so there is little left to learn at AAA. He would benefit more by being around the big leaguers, IMHO.
