Todd Jones has been so good for us in the backend of the bullpen. I actually thought Jones was mean but in the interview he looked like he is awesome to hang around with.

Who expected him to be this good? Amazing.

 

If only our offense would give him more opportunities to pitch...

Yea there was some controversy with him a few years back in Colorado with him saying how he hopes he doesn't have any gay teammates... or something along those lines. He's hilarious though and seems like a really good teammate.

bullpen did super work tonight. it was a little shaky at times (Travis Smith) but I'll take 5 innings of shutout relief work any day. :thumbup

Jones was impressive tonight. Great location. Changed speed effectively. Up and in on the hands to close them out. Excellent.

He gave an 04' Benitez-calibre performance against some scary power hitters... big ups to the Official Redneck of the Marlins!

That has to be the best pitched inning this year for the Marlins.

Biggest impact of any acquisition from the offseason. If he hadn't held the bullpen together like he has, we're already auctioning off AJ and Gonzalez.
