Accord
ENC needs to be benched. That was the most embarassing AB since the allstar game many moons ago where the Unit struck out John Kruk. Start Niner in RF and Easley Dh'ing.
JPMarlin
I agree, bench his sorry non-motivated ass. He's a cancer that needs but cut out of this team
PBMarlin
Yes it was a lousy AB, one of the worst I've seen of him this year. But seriously, is Conine who has gone 0-3 and left 4 runners on really any better?

NirvanaNole
I didn't see the game, but I've wanted him traded for a while. He is a lazy defender. Start Conine and hope Hermidia is ready to help out by the end of the year. Throw Enc in a deal with Willingham/Stokes/pitching prospect to Oakland for Zito/money. They could trade Enc to the Yanks or Nationals for more prospects. We need Zito with Beckett out and Leiter struggling. Zito is pitching great lately with no run support. Sorry to hijack the thread. Iowa
I said it in the last thread about Conine/Enc. The quality of Conine's ABs are heads and tails above Encs... and the whole effort thing. But whatever, we have our own opinions on this topic.. i respect yours.
Ns2003
Niner in right tomorrow, easley or dillon at DH.

Marlins2003
Conine's at first tomorrow, Delgado's DHing and Enc will be right.
Hotcorner
I would be surprised to see Encarnacion in the lineup tomorrow. 815042 I wouldn't. Jack doesn't seem to agree with us.
The Folklegend
I'd be surprised if Enc isn't in the line-up tomorrow. As bad as that AB was, he's still more productive than anyone on the bench. Short of calling up Willingham, the only option is Conine, and he's already DHing.
PBMarlin
Encarnacion just needs to settle down a bit. He's been swinging and sliders out of the zone, the exact thing that got him in trouble last year. He needs to be a bit more patient and it will turn around for him. He may be in a bit of a mini slump, but it is nothing compared to what Lowell experienced and what JP has been doing the entire year. AGonzalez11
Yes it was a lousy AB, one of the worst I've seen of him this year.? But seriously, is Conine who has gone 0-3 and left 4 runners on really any better? 814966 Maybe, maybe not -- but I can tell you one thing, Jeff Conine would not be swinging at two consecutive 3-ball -in-the-dirt sliders in a tie ballgame in extra innings. That 3-2 pitch he swung at was just flat out lack of concentration -- the ball bounced before it even got to the plate. His lack of effort is unacceptable -- he just doesnt give a flying f**k. When he was walking back to the bench with that "whatever" look in his eyes I felt like sticking my arms through my screen and choking him to death. I haven't disliked a Marlin this much since Dan Miceli. When Beinfest finally comes to his senses and trades this clown I'll be the first to send him a thank you card. Enc looked quite disappointed when the panned through the dugout the next inning. I see all these comments that Enc doesn't care, and they all seem completely unfounded to me. Where's the emotion? How can anyone justify swinging at two consecutive terrible sliders in the dirt? Simply a lack of concentration/lack of effort. Flamarlins3
That was one of the most frustrating/bad at bats ever to watch...Guess he was just trying too hard to be the hero rather than just take the walk. Bring up Willingham, or hell Hermida
