NL East

Featured Replies

The nationals own a 4 1/2 game lead over the brabes, 6 over the marlins. they are 16 games over .500

but the most interestingg stat.. they've allowed 2 more runs than they scored. 322-324. freaking weird.

also, all 5 teams are above .500

Like the NFL.......it's not parity, it's mediocrity.

The NL is a joke....the Natties would be a below .500 team in the AL.

they would not...be below .500...thats like saying tampa and kc would be above .500 in the nl

well maybe not lol

The Natties are a cute little story.....but they are not any good.

The following AL Teams are better than them: Red Sox, White Sox, Twins, Rangers, Angels, Indians, Orioles, maybe even the Yankees.

And these Natties are the 2nd best team in the NL right now behind the league's only real team, the Cardinals.

Agreed :notworthy

The NL does suck.

you sir are an idiot!!

look at the NL east record vs the AL

41-37 with the mets being the only one well under .500 at 5-10

oh, and the Nats are 12-6 vs AL teams.......yeah, they really suck

You NL Homers are hysterical.....check the overall numbers, the AL killed the NL in interleague, and has a way better record overall than the NL, but undeniable facts are irrelevant to homers I suppose.

Craig is definitely right, the AL is way better this year. Even the 3rd place teams in those 3 divisions are dangerous teams that should play over .500 this year and maybe even be in the playoff race.

I've heard some pretty stupid things in my time, but saying that the Nats aren't any good takes the cake.

I don't want to be picking sides or anything, but does anyone know the league records this season for interleague play? Is the NL or AL on top?

There's a surprise. :whistle

I hate to say it but the Nationals are better then the Yankees, better then Cleveland, better then the Rangers....You can't deny their record no matter what league they play in....

Sorry but that is a load. The Rangers, Orioles, Angels, Indians, Twins and Yankees are not much better than any other NL team. Get off your high horse because your team is playing well.

I personally can't wait until that pitching stops holding up for the White Sox and their fans go back into their hole.

I thought it was going to happen already and this was going to be the same ole White Sox, but it's not. They just know how to win.

Your gonna have to wait at least until October.

Jealous much? It's really pretty obvious....

How does this have anything to do with the White Sox?? Yeah they are good, but this is all about 1 league being way better than the other, and the White Sox are only 1 of several teams in that picture.

it's ironic because the white sox are EXACTLY like the nats. they both have great records in one run games. they're both going to regress to the mean in the second half of the season.

oh yeah, the AL was supposed to be a lot better in 2003, guess who won the world series?
