Every Marlin fan should donate $100 to the stadium cause.

Would Loria give you even $1.00 to build your home? :whistle

Sorry but this cause is on the team...the thought of average fans footing the bill for a stadium after all of the tax money that has already gone into the project, it's just untinkable. However why don't the team sells construction bonds to interested fans? or seat licenses? Just my two cents...

Sure, I'll donate $100.00 for the right to then pay maybe $30.00 for an average ticket, $6.50 for a beer, and $5.50 for a cold hot dog. Yeah, that makes sense!

If I'm giving $100.00 then I want something for it, not just the ability to pay even more money for things!

I say we throw the Cards' new park into the Mississippi, let it float down into the gulf, then float it over to Florida. After that, we just build the second half of the stadium and voila! No one will ever know. :plain

While were at it... I think we should look at the originally modest proposal. We need a new marlins stadium and we need the money from somewhere... so lets not buy food, but have lots of children and then eat them while there nice and plump and save the money we would be using to buy food to donate it to build a new marlins stadium. Now thats a modest proposal. :hat

This is a sure thing people! Its the only finanically viable solution and the only logical one... we'll make this stadium so that our children (or at least the children that survive) will be able to watch baseball for years to come. :thumbup

Mermaids Car wash! I would pay 20 bucks to see that one. Soap, mermaids, cars, water, beer... hmmm beer...

On a more serious note. Why dont they sell broken bats or batting practice balls? I would pay 100 bucks for a game used Miguel Cabrera broken bat in a heartbeat!

how bout the million dollar players foot the bill im sure they copulds afford it. i mean they cant spend all the $$$$$$$$$ they get any way so why not spend it on something useful

better yet why don't all baseball players go back to getting paid less then doctors, and they can get regular jobs after games, that way all 30 big leagues teams can get new stadiums, and donate the old ones to the minor league teams!
