Hi Carlos, Bye Val.

Thank god Valerio left, that guy was horrible. Now we just need Mota to either get to the way he was with the Dodgers or he can be dismissed also.

Maybe it was just a lucky streak, but when Santos first came to the Bigs, he was real solid and had an ERA around 2 for some time, but for whatever reason, he started to pitch horrible torward the end of his tenure.

What ever happened to Villone...

Villone has pitched in the game or in the bullpen nearly every game in recent memory.

Nice for Jack and club to ditch the extra lefty. I'm not sold on Messenger and his Billy Koch-like flat fastball, but atleast he provides more use to us.

I like it, Valerio just wasn't getting it done and became almost Perisholike out there.

I think Perisho was better. 2 days in a row, big time home runs.

I personally liked Perisho, just got hit hard this year, but he was always solid. Same with Bump, he was awesome last year and sometimes this year but just got into a Perisho streak type thing.

Perisho's problem wasn't so much that he got hit hard but that he walked most lefties he was brought in to face.

Once LoDuca is ready, I doubt the Marlins will carry 3 catchers and 6 in the pen, so Jorg will be sent down to make room for another reliever. Any idea on who it might be? Reidling? Resop? Clontz?

Val sucks, he really, really sucks! Thank god he is gone...we only need Villone though he hasn't been as dominating in the past few games as when we first acquired him.

Bump was also warmed up constantly and never used. He finally had an injury and from what I hear he had surgery the other week although as far as I have seen, the Marlins have released no info on Bump about the surgery. Just another one of Jack's getting a pitcher hurt from misuse. Just can't stand Jack. I know alot of people love him here but he's an old fart who should have been fired by the all star break. This team would have a much better record without him. This is just my opinion from watching Jack coach over the years. His not remembering names is not an act. It happens too often. I wonder how many games we have lost because of his "memory" blunders?

Yep, Jack loves to warm up guys and never bring them into games. Tires arms. Can lead to short endurance, ineffectiveness and injuries. All in crucial spots, because he gives starters all da to finish the job. I really wish he'd stop. The only game I can remember in the past week Villone has not warmed up was this past Friday. VDLS too. Not even 'Everyday Eddie' could endure that type of stress over an extended period of time.
