September 4, 200521 yr After being steallar for 6 straight starts, AJ has been complete crap the last two games. His era has risen from 2.9 to 3.23. He is 0-2. He couldn't be the stopper today and beat the Mutts. So, does anyone think he might be pitching himself back to where he is affordable to us?

September 4, 200521 yr He really doesn't deserve any large contract. He proves that when he's on, he's on and when he's not, he's not. He's more inconsistent than anything else and along with his attitude, I could really care less to see him in a Marlins uniform next season.

September 4, 200521 yr I just think that no matter how good AJ plays for us, he just doesn't want to be here. I really can't blame him in wanting to play in a more energetic place, but even if we could afford him, I just think its time to breaks ties. Lets hope he can keep it together to give us a run for the title.

September 5, 200521 yr No doubt AJ is less valuable to us than before. But some other team is bound to offer him the big contract. AJ has shown he is still just a thrower and is yet to learn how to pitch. He may very well figure it all out some year, but should we take the risk and offer him the big contract. I say no, particularly with Dontrelle and Vargas pitching so well.
