Posted September 12, 200519 yr Aside from the home whites and the road reds and blacks, the Heat will have a 4th uniform at 5-10 home games this year. It will be the black, orange, and magenta uniform of the Miami Floridians from the ABA, who played from 1968-72 and held their home games at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Dinner Key Auditorium, and Miami-Dade North. At those games, there will be 70s music and 70s dancers uniforms as well. Heres a look:
September 12, 200519 yr oh God wtf? someone is clearly on this s***. :weed    i had to use it as soon as i saw it.
September 13, 200519 yr that is the gayest uniform ever. i might understand using it once as a throwback. but 5-10 home games? good lord man, we only get 41 of them.
September 13, 200519 yr What a stupid jersey. Oh well, it'll probably sell like crazy, and that's what it's all about.
September 13, 200519 yr I could see maybe one or two throwback games, like a christmas game or somethin. 5-10 is a little too much.
September 14, 200519 yr it means CASH.. mo money.. hehe that is all the care of. If the marlins could pull it off they would do it too.
October 1, 200519 yr Author From Heat.com: "For the first time, the HEAT will participate in the NBA Hardwood Classics program, where teams recognize the legacy of professional basketball in their area. The HEAT will don the black, orange and magenta uniforms of the 1971-72 Miami Floridians of the American Basketball Association (ABA) for these six home games this season: December 11 vs. Washington, February 25 vs. Seattle, March 8 vs. Washington, March 12 vs. Cleveland, April 6 vs. Detroit and April 16 vs. Chicago. These games will feature a special 1970?s themed team introduction and all activities during the games will have a 70?s look, sound and feel."

October 4, 200519 yr I don't think they're THAT bad, they look kinda cute on NBA Live '06. Though I agree that six home games is a bit too much.
