I've always liked Johnson.. Very awesome to see a player of his caliber give respect to an opposing defense:

It's much respect, seriously," he said. "I never even talk like this, but man film does not lie, therefore 85 is going to keep his mouth shut this week."

Bears/Bengals is gonna be a good one. Outstanding offense vs. Outstanding defense. Whoever comes out of this game with a W is going to get some respect around the league.

Chad has a list of the corners who are covering him and the list is titled "Who can cover 85 in '05?" Two games in and both corners have a check in the "No" box.

If you're into that sort of thing there's a video of him on Bengals.com next to the list and talking about how he came up with the idea and basically laughing his ass off over it. 5 minutes long and classic Chad.

Oh, and to add some more fuel to the fire, the current vote on who's goin to win this weekend, the Bengals are SLIGHTLY leading the Bears:

Cincinnati at Chicago: Who wins?

78.1% Cincinnati

21.9% Chicago

should be a very good game, i for one cant wait , and chad loves to run his mouth all the time, so you know when he shuts his mouth about your defense then that is ultimate respect, but should be an awsome game.

palmer looks like a monster this year :)

After seeing that checklist Chad Johnson is my new favorite player.

um ok? Obviously those would be the results but if you think you're gonna come in and just roll us, its not going to happen. I think it will be a good game.

I said before the season he was the breakout star and it's only beginning.

Chad > every WR in the league

Chad > every WR in the league

Chad is good, nearly great, but he's not even the best WR in his conference. Heck, he might not be the best WR in his division.

Divison yes.

You can't think Hines Ward is better. And there's no one on the Browns or Ravens that compares.

I meant more as in terms of my favorite WR outside of my own team.

Divison yes.

I was talking about Derrick Mason. Hines is good, but not nearly as talented as Chad. Mason is screwed now since he has nothing but doodoo throwing to him, but his numbers from previous years are undeniable.

Hines is the best all around player.

He is basically a 6th lineman out there on running plays, his blocking is nuts.

Anyways, the best WRs IMO right now:

1. Owens

2. Moss

3. Harrison

4. Holt

5. Johnson

6. Ward

7. Mason

8. Wayne

9. Jackson

10. Muhammad

Divison yes.

Last 3 seasons:

Chad: 254 catches - 3795 yards - 24 TD

Mason: 270 catches - 3483 yards - 20 TD

Pretty comparable..

I think Moose should be above Wayne, Jackson and Mason. I'd probably try to work Jimmy Smith into the Top 10, even though he's old.

His numbers are arguable for your case. I just don't see it though.

That "Lord of the Dance" ripoff he did as a celebration after the 1st touchdown was gold.

agreed. Jimmy Smith always gets overlooked.

Chad's on my fantasy team, and I owe him like 482 hand jobs after his first few weeks.

Chad is a truly great WR, Top 5 in the league without a doubt, but...

Chad seriously needs to keep his mouth shut. Hopefully one of the Corners on his list takes his dumba$$ remarks to heart and he gets schooled by some CB.

Learn from Don Hutson, Jerry Rice, Lynn Swann, etc.

Don't be such a diva. It's really annoying. Really annoying.

Had to throw that lame reference to a Packers WR who played in the 30s and 40s, didn't ya?

Chad is backing up his talk and until someone can stop him, I see no need for him to stop. The best way to shut him up is to stop him, and I just don't see that happening anytime soon.

At least, as far as I know, he and Carson Palmer are on speaking terms. :thumbup
