October 6, 200520 yr DC Talk is fantastic.... "Colored People" "Jesus Freak" "Supernatural" All good songs. I also really like the Newsboys. "Shine" "Entertaining Angels" "Breakfast" And my gilfriend is really into Casting Crowns. They are pretty good, just not my style of music, but they are really popular.

October 7, 200520 yr And my gilfriend is really into Casting Crowns. They are pretty good, just not my style of music, but they are really popular. Yeah, most of their music sounds the same. Not a bad message, though. Rorod, it's funny you should mention downloading a Chris Rice song... I've heard a few promos with him and a bunch of other artists on how you shouldn't do that... :banghead Anyway, his stuff is good, even if he'll probably be remembered most for "Cartoons" - he says he just wants audiences to forget it now . I also like the Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline. There are a number of other songs I like, but haven't heard enough of the artist to really pass judgment on them... I edit a Christian music video show, so I get exposed to a pretty wide variety of Christian music. I have also had the opportunity to meet a number of artists because of the show (actually, that's how I know about Chris Rice's feelings toward "Cartoons"), which has been great.

October 7, 200520 yr I also like Mercy Me and Michael W. Smith. My favorite Michael W. Smith song is "This is Your Time". It is written for Cassie Bernal, the girl in Columbine that said yes when the killers asked her if she believed in God before the killed her. http://www.lyrics45.com/Michael+W.+Smith+l...+Your+Time.html
November 5, 200520 yr Hey, great topic! My favorite is: I can only imagine by Mercy Me Followed by a close second: Jeremy Camp - all of his songs! Restored is a great song to listen to as well as "Take you Back.! Building 429 Crystal Lewis Delirious Casting Crowns Rebecca St. James News Boys All of these can be heard on Air 1 Radio Station
November 6, 200520 yr i don't care for a lot of christian music- the good thought is there but it tends be too bland and "radio friendly" for my taste. however, the album john davis (formerly of superdrag) put out recently is great. highly recommended. there are a few gems though here and there, made better by the contemporary worship performers at my church. good songs: hallelujah (your love is amazing) is maybe my favorite song indescribable by chris tomlin cry holy - sonicflood let it rise- some gospel dude yet i will praise- some chick now is the time to worship- whoever is there even a xtian station in sfl? z88.3 here is a pretty big deal though they play the same songs over and over..
November 6, 200520 yr creed - my own prison then this song 'sanctuary' not sure who its by and 'lord i lift your name on high' is also a good one.
November 6, 200520 yr creed - my own prison then this song 'sanctuary' not sure who its by and 'lord i lift your name on high' is also a good one. I'm pretty sure sanctuary is originally a hymn.
