February 20, 200620 yr As promised in another thread, here are my pictures from today's workouts (both Marlins and Cardinals) as I was there with my daughter (Little SoFlaFish) on our annual trip to practices (this is our fourth year!): Pitchers workouts. Josh Johnson throwing. Girardi overseeing the catchers. Little SoFlaFish getting an autograph from Mike Harkey (as I was joking about me remembering him being the next great Cub phenom prospect, he was cracking up saying that I was making both of us look really old). Albert Pujols waiting to take some BP, in his group was also Scott Rolen and Jim Edmonds. Little SoFlaFish getting her Cardinals book (a gift from Eli Marrero when he was a Card about three years ago) signed by prospect catcher Michel Hernandez.

Or Conine. #19 and #1 are the only two that really mean something to the franchise. Should at least hold off reissuing it, or give it to a meaningful player if necessary, then again, that's something a classy organization would do, so I'm not surprised.
