May 14, 200620 yr Offense once again puts up a lot of runs, and today it held up as Moehler finally put up a real nice outing & gave the pen a break. Hanley Ramirez is seriously on fire. 3 more hits & 2 steals. Borchard & Cabrera homer, Olivo with 2 more hits, Uggla on base 4 times. Even Yusmeiro Petit made a nice debut pitching the 9th with 2 strikeouts! All good news today!
May 14, 200620 yr A lot to smile about after this game...Ramirez is playing at a top tier (Yes we can say All-Star level) Uggla is a extremely good hitter in the 2-spot Willy had an ofer day but still had an rBI. Cabs is an All-star... Olivo is also hitting the ball extremely...Jake has been playing much better...The pitching wasgreat today...We need more days like today
May 14, 200620 yr OH YES!! Bats came out again today... GREAT ALL AROUND WIN!! Havent had one of those this season... Let's keep it going and take 3 of 4 from the Bravos
May 14, 200620 yr And what about the 2 straight quality starts by Olsen and Moehler. If we can pitch and hit we will win more games. Maybe they are starting to figure it out.

Yep now here's hoping Willis can give us a nice start the next time he goes. His shockingly dissapointing season so far remains our biggest concern.

May 14, 200620 yr very nice game, bats came alive and moehler was a big surprise, looks like that many runs worked out for him. hanley and uggla setup the table for cabrera and when that happens we can win games.
May 15, 200620 yr Great game today. I was very impressed with Moehler's performance and our offense. They just need to work on all those strikeouts (11 today). Anyway, great game and I'm happy we finally won our first 3-game series. Great job, guys!
May 15, 200620 yr hopefully petite works out as a closer. :thumbup   He wont be in the closers role dude...
