Ever since that terrible 7 game losing streak, we have gone 12-6. I just hope we can pick up over 500 in the june games. There are 25 games in june, we should go for 13 wins and we have 6 now so lets keep winning series

Was nice to go 6-3 on the homestand and 6-3 on the road trip. Things should be swaying our way also looked at the standings and the last 10 games the Braves are 2-8 their best pitcher to date is Smoltz pretty much and we have JJ who has just been nails the whole year.

I hope we keep it up against the Braves.... God I hate the Braves with the passion of, well... Passion.

Our road record has improved to 14-20.....I can think of a number of past Marlins teams that could have really used a 6-3 Western trip......

:thumbup We are having a great few weeks. Even some of our losses could have been wins so it wasnt like we were totally out of the game.

Keep it you boys... you are doing great :) .

so what was the turning point? was it getting swept by Tampa in walkoff fashion? Was it Hermida returning to the lineup? Or was it Mike Jacobs with the GW hit in the bottom of the 9th against the Cubs?

The Messy and Olsen fight. :whistle

Here is an interesting note in case anybody is wondering (And a smack to the media that said this team could be the worst team ever):

Through 60 Games:

2006 Marlins - 23-37

1998 Marlins - 17-43 (Lost 108 games)

1962 Mets - 16-44 (Lost 120 games)

It may not mean much, but these guys are showing signs of life that these two other teams never showed. :D

So we were 54-108 as defending champs in 1998. I bet that the all time worst as defending champs huh?

yeah, its a record

Whats our record in April, May and June?

6-16 in April

11-18 in May

6-3 in June

wow. we already have as many wins this month as we did in April. :lol

Thanks. Hopefully we will pass the 11 wins in May.

Just for note, the rest of the June schedule looks like this:

3 games vs Atlanta

3 games vs Toronto

3 games @ Baltimore

3 games @ NYY

3 games vs Tampa Bay

1 game against Boston

:o This is going to be a big test for us. I am excited to see how the Fish do in New York. Does anyone know who might pitch for that series if everything goes right? I know its early but I am just curious.

Probables for the rest of the games in June:

Atl: Johnson/Willis/Nolasco

Tor: Olsen/Moehler/Johnson

Bal: Willis/Nolasco/Olsen

NYY: Moehler/Johnson/Willis

Bos: Nolasco

Probables for the rest of the games in June:

Atl: Johnson/Willis/Nolasco

Tor: Olsen/Moehler/Johnson

Bal: Willis/Nolasco/Olsen

Nothing against Moe or anything but I would love to have JJ, Willis and Noly pitch in New York.

How about the Yanks? I would look for it myself but I don't know their rotation or where to find it.

I hope we keep it up against the Braves.... God I hate the Braves with the passion of, well... Passion.

gee...go figure my cousin gets drafted by the braves...and he had an awesome game in the state semis today...awww damn it...the braves everyone! THE BRAVES...damn...im happy for him and everything but damn...being from massachusetts its like having to root for tha yankees...well...well...ouch...low blow big guy...low blow :confused

Just so you guys know, I'll be going to 7 games over the next two weeks between Florida and Baltimore.

Currently the Marlins are 2-0 when I'm present. :thumbup

I'll be at the first Marlins/Orioles game since I'll be in Maryland visiting my family for part of that week...

Probables for the rest of the games in June:

As of right now, the probables for the Yankees series look to be

Chacon/Wang/Big Unit

So if things stay the same:

Moehler vs Chacon

Johnson vs Wang

D-Train vs Big Unit

Moehler vs Chacon

Johnson vs Wang :plain

D-Train vs Big Unit

Your a pervert Holly.

Although, to keep things up to snuff might want to switch Johnson to face Big Unit(I know, thats no better than Johnson vs Wang), but might as well let him face as many legends as possible. Or actually, Jonhson vs Johnson! And his first name is Randy, which in british means "horny".

#51 cant win when it concerns naughty names that his first, last, and nicknames can be substitued for.

Probables for the rest of the games in June:

Atl: Johnson/Willis/Nolasco

Tor: Olsen/Moehler/Johnson

Bal: Willis/Nolasco/Olsen

NYY: Moehler/Johnson/Willis

Bos: Nolasco

I think it will be Wang/Johnson/Mussina, but Im not positive. The Yankee's dont have a normal rotation. They pitch Johnson and Mussina every 5th day and almost with Wang. Im not sure with Chacon because he just got back today. If there is an off day before or after Wright that would effect one of Johnson or Mussina's starts they skip him. So it's kind of hard to predict who they will have.
