Scouting Report:

Friday, July 28 Citizens Bank Park | 7:05 PM ET

Marlins (47-53) @ Phillies (46-53)

Ricky Nolasco, RHP (8-6, 4.27)

In his last start, Nolasco turned in arguably his finest performance of the season. The 23-year-old rookie tossed 7 1/3 scoreless innings, and matched his career high with seven strikeouts in beating the Pirates. Nolasco tossed a personal high 110 pitches, and was firmly in command, scattering four hits. In his last two starts, he is 2-0, giving up two runs (one earned) in 14 1/3 innings.

Brett Myers, RHP (6-4, 3.74)

Myers has looked sharp in each of his two starts since his leave of absence following his domestic assault arrest. In his last outing, he held the Braves to a run on three hits and no walks through eight before a walk and a double in the ninth ended his night. The leave of absence seems to have had no effect on Myers, who looked strong late into the game. Myers has started once against Marlins this year, allowing two runs in six innings in an April 23 win.

Never thought I would pull for a NY team; and yes it's hard to say, but as great as our young club is, we probably can't catch them, but we can

win the wild card... BELIEVE IT, this club has heart just like the 03 team

LETS GO MARLINS!!

I can't tell if it's Miguel Olivo or Miguel Cabrera that is laughing like a girl.
