let the Eric Reed era begin

Reed batting in the 8th spot gives new meaning to the black hole part of the order. Wow is that Andy LaRoche starting for the Dodgers? I didn't realize he got the call up.

Why not bat Nolasco 8th and Reed 9th? Hopefully the FO will get the idea that Reed is not good.

Edit: Watch Reed hit for the cycle tonight :lol .

Considering LB's track record don't you think they should have gotten that idea a long time ago? :lol

:lol ... I can probably hit the ball better than Reed. Hey, I almost took my cousins head off when I hit a line drive up the middle.

He should seriously consider bunting for a hit in every AB, he will at least get on base once in four attempts.

With Tubby on the mound it's not the worst idea that will be posted here today.

Good point, b/c Alyssa Milano wouldn't have dated a fat starting pitcher.

I admit to not seeing him for awhile so I can be wrong but look at the pic on the front page of the Dodgers website

and where he's still listed on the roster as 6'4" and 260 lbs. http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/team/pla...layer_id=207267

Gotta say if he indeed lost all that weight my hat's off to him.

The one on the right cannot be Penny.

Oh I wasn't trying to prove you wrong Marlins2003 sorry if I gave that impression. I was actually trying to be funny, obviously I fell flat on my face. :lol

I wish there was a proposition bet available on if he can muscle? one on the fly over the infield.

.

.

His best shot is to bunt in every AB.

Hopefully he won't get hurt.

If he ever got hit with a fastball it looks to me like it would break a bone.

Burnett-Penny-Beckett, what a rotation that would have been if this team had the means to keep them.

It'd be a Beckett-Dontrelle-Burnett-Penny-Olsen rotation. Not bad.

Obviously, good luck Eric-show us all up-but he may beat out 2 dribblers-but effectively he is an out and Penny should have his way with Eric's slow bat and ability to hit a long fly ball over the pitchers mound

No problemo :D
