Atlanta Hawks Get a New Look

Featured Replies

Not a fan of the use of red, white, and blue. It's not original or unique, but the uniform style is a definite upgrade. B-

I'm a fan of the white. The Hawk on the jersey kind of reminds me of the Bobcats logo though. Lets see if they can put together a team that can actually win OVER 30 games now.

They are definitely an upgrade for a franchise that really needs to change it's face but I'm not deeling that number styling or the trend of teams going to these 'sleek' type of logos.

Edit: Apparently that logo on the leg is just an alternate they are keeping with the current logo and just updating the color scheme and lettering...

Look waaaaaay too much like the Bobcats for me on a quick glance.

Like the lettering on the road jerseys, not a fan of the color.

The uniforms don't look much like the Bobcats' uni's at all.

Single solid base color, multi color diagonal side stripes, block lettering, not offset quasi-3D.

Obviously the color scheme is different, but I think there's more than a passing resemblance.

looks too st. joes (or was it st. john) to me. and one of my atlanta friends hated the uniform (as many other people in the city). where's the red?

Don't see it at all.

The side stripes are not the same, the logo style is not the same, the number style is not the same.

Doesn't matter though. Perception is perception not much need to discuss it further.

You can't change your look enough when people continue buying merchandise.

Bring this look back, including the shorts.

Who's the lady on the left?

:cool

I really like them. If ever a franchise needed an overhaul on the way they look, it was the Atlanta Hawks. Their old red jerseys were just blah, sort of like the way they have played basketball the last 20 years.

NBA should have a turn back the clock season and just have all the teams wear throwbacks all year.
