They are 2 million apart and the O's arent going up and it doesnt look like Boras will go down. This would be a horrible move by the Orioles to not sign him. They knew how expensive he was going to be, why draft him if you aren't going to pay? What a waste and why that franchise will be bad for years to come.

Huge mistake by the Orioles not signing Weiters, this is going to hurt the franchise for a long time. Still no word yet on Josh Vitters, which is really strange..he was supposed to be one of the easier signs of the draft.

Looks like the Orioles won, he certainly didn't get a ridiculous figure. However, it was still pretty worthwhile. The highest pick who has not yet signed appears to be Julio Borbon, a pick of the Texas Rangers in the 1st Supplemental Round out of Tennessee. It's possible that the deal hasn't been announced yet, however.

August 16, 200719 yr Kyle Kaminska has been signed for like 2 weeks now. He has been starting for GCL team Bryan Hagerich NO ONE KNOWS about?? He was a senior so he cant go back to school but it seems like the Marlins did not sign him. Mike McCravey dont be surprised if the Marlins draft him next year. They like him but it seems his arm is still not as strong as the Marlins wanted. So they let him walk, but will be following him all next year CRAZIEST CONTRACT goes to the Washington Nats They gave Jack McGeary(first round talent but draft in 6th round) 2 million to sign. But this is the kicker- he will only pitch for the Nationals from June-August for the next 4 yrs. They signed him to a contract that says they will pay for his education at Stanford and he only has to pitch during the summer until he graduates. All I can say is WOW!! Do the Nats have that much extra cash to throw around just for the rights to a pitcher. If the Marlins had a extra 2 mil they could have signed Easterling,St Luce and a few more 16 yr old international guys.
