Seat Color

Featured Replies

black is too hot, even with a retractable roof.

very dark blue (kinda like turner field's seats... yeah i hate the braves too but the color would work for us) with teal club seats in the middle

i cant stand the dark green trend, it makes every ballpark look the same... and it would look stupid if we dont have a retro style park.

Some sections Teal, some sections White. I'd say black in some area with an overhang, but it may still end up too hot.

Some may think that using the team colors like that might seem like overkill, but honestly, after waiting so long for their own stadium, I think the stadium should be distinctly Marlins, and not look like the multitude of other parks with green & blue seats & walls.

Maybe these, but really, I couldn't care less what the seat colors are... shouldn't be able to see the seat's color with people in them :mischief

Yeah if Loria decides to go with a 20k capacity ballpark.

This is what I am talkin 'bout, of course a lot better done than mine lol... this was just a quick example. And also not on like 50 seats, one giant one blown up behind home plate painted into the seats.

But you'll only see that when the seats are empty, which conveys a pretty bad message if you think about it.

It's too gimmicky too... They can cut the logo into the grass or something like the Nats did... Gimme a nice new stadium with generic seats and no Huizenga collecting rent... Im VERY VERY easy to please with such matters

There's no denying that it would be unique... but from the talk it seems like people are so interested in having a ballpark like no other, that it seems like it's lost on people that what's most imporant is the fact that we're going to have one... and by the looks of the Nats ballpark, Im not worried at all about what this is gonna look like.

In the same respect, we will have our own style and our own unique nooks and crannies in the park. Stuff like the seats are inconsequential, both short term and long term.

Now, that doesn't mean it's not fun to speculate and imagine stuff like this :)
