Unlike the rest of the pitchers in the pen, and most of his outings, Pinto actually threw strikes tonight...he didn't have the luck on his side. It's not as if he had terrible control, or as if he was hit hard.

Wow...that's hypocritical. You're blaming Pinto...who did nothing wrong. Yet, you don't blame Nelson as much b/c "he almost got out of it." "He almost got out of it" b/c unlike with Pinto, the Marlins actually made 2 very nice defensive plays, for Nelson. Nelson fell behind every hitter he faced, 3-1. Meanwhile, Pinto actually comes in and throws strikes, for once, and we blame him b/c of a crappy hit through the hole, a fortunate bunt by the Rays, and a miscue by Jacobs. That's ridiculous.
