Nolasco really picked up the Fish in the first half especially when you think about last season and seems to be the stopper not letting losing streaks get to long. Dan and Hanley have continued to produce about where they've become expected to.

Pitching wise it was Olsen and Nolasco... but Hanley is a beast can't go against him.

Why don't you ever include SLG or WHIP?!

I'll debut those 2 in the Fish of the Week poll this week just for you.

:)

The answer to this question is the same as "Who is the best player on the Marlins?"

Answer: Hanley Mother-F'ing Ramirez! :notworthy

I'll vote for Uggla, Ramirez commit to many errors for me, i like defense.

The obvious answers are Hanley and Uggla, however, where would we be without Ricky's starting pitching. He has been (in my opinion) the lone bright spot in the rotation. He's the only consistent starter we have right now.

Scotty has been just as consistent, if not more so. He just never got the run support. That's why he has 10 no decisions.

Gotta go with Uggla. He is silencing even the biggest critics, and has come on very strong after a rough start to the year (remember that? Batting below .200??)

and what about scott olsen? he has been just as good if not better.

No he hasn't, he had some mishaps throughout June and struggled for a while. Some of the games he pitched he didnt get enough run support but Nolasco has been good since late April early May and he has been consistent too going 8-1 in his last 9 starts.

All that being said I voted Hanley, even though I like Uggla just as much if not a little more Hanley bumped his average to above .300 and is going to be the catalyst we need in the second half.

Yep. I was one of those critics of Uggla before the season. He's shut me up. It's not a knock on Hanley. We knew he'd be great, but Dan has rebounded from a disappointing season to put up big numbers and has become one of the most feared sluggers in the NL.
